It went as expected on our son’s part but I was very impressed how quickly and how well the haircut went. We felt at ease and I even got a cute keepsake photo and lock of him. Snip-its in Avon does a great job cutting my son’s hair. He was frightened at first, but Cassandra did a great job of talking through everything with him, and he has been fine ever since. She is quick, but also pays attention to his cowlicks. He always looks great, and is happy to receive a toy when it’s done. Having Netflix for him to watch is great, too. Online scheduling makes it easy, too. I highly recommend Snip-its in Avon.

We’ve tried Snip Its for our son a handful of times, of those times we’ve had two good hair cuts and the others have been horrible. I’m not sure what notes they’re using but we’ve gotten three different hair cuts all based off one good cut no one could replicate. My son has cowlicks in the back, he’s 2, we don’t except perfection but after today we will be looking elsewhere. We got a different stylist who once again cited the previous ones notes and my husband told her he mostly needed the back shortened up a little. Instead he came home with a complete buzz cut and uneven bangs that are maybe half an inch long at best. Not much can be done when they hack that much hair off. I hope they figure out some sort of solution to have better consistency making stylists.

I’ve taken my 2 year old son here on a few different occasions when our regular PROFESIONAL barber has not been available. He never minds getting his haircut and always sits well and cooperates. However, today he cried a few times during his haircut and has been saying “haircut hurt” since he left. After getting him home we now realize why he was crying. He’s had 30+ haircuts and has never had a mark on him afterwards. I’ve never been happy with the actual cut here, always uneven and blotchy but in a pinch, it’s good enough. This is unacceptable though. He will probably be terrified to get his haircut again. The ladies are usually rude, short with parents and not even good with kids. Please hire experienced stylists who know how to properly use clippers and don’t hurt children in the process. We’ll never be back!!! Terrible!!
