Shannon did an amazing job on our six year old son, Jack. She kept up a very sweet and engaging dialog which kept him occupied and no need for a screen. He had a pretty decent mop going (we are repeat customers but it had been since summer) but she gave him a great haircut and had him in and out of the chair in less than fifteen minutes.

I have gone for years for my kids’ haircuts. Never again! My son has never had such a bad cut. He will now go to an actual barbershop. Please be careful and selective as to who you chose to cut your kids’ hair. Most of the workers do a decent job. Unfortunately, I chose to go with someone who has never cut his hair because I trusted it would be fine. However, his cut looks like it was done at home by someone who does not have a license. Beware!

It was our daughter’s first hair cut, and as first time moms we were terrified of it being a traumatic experience for our daughter. She is a little girl that is full of spirit and energy, and it’s shy about giving it to you once she is uncomfortable. We called ahead and apologized for the potential crying and freak out our daughter may have. They thanked us for the heads up and told us not to worry. When we arrived Shannon introduced herself to our daughter and let her get comfortable…. At 19 months old it involves exploration, which didn’t bother Shannon at all. Once the cut started and our daughter began to cry Shannon stepped back and made sure baby and moms were okay. She continued to ask us what we needed, while explaining the process and reassuring our daughter who eventually calmed down enough to allow Shannon to finish her cut. Post cut our daughter ran and laughed throughout the shop and Shannon gracefully allowed this part of the experience to happen…. Never once making us feel as though we were a bother, or that our daughter emotional response was unacceptable. From beginning to end she was a top notch professional…. And we genuinely couldn’t be more thankful. The hair cut itself is exactly what we requested as well…. Shannon knew what she was doing…. And made sure we didn’t walk away with something we didn’t want. (Which we would have…. Had Shannon not walked us through the no no’s of hair cuts) thank you thank you!

Our son had such a great experience! The atmosphere is very inviting, and children feel comfortable, and have fun. I love it that, a haircut isn’t a chore here, it is a place to have fun and enjoy the whole process. Our stylist Marcy was so sweet, she took her time and listened to us explain what we wanted. She was very down to earth, and friendly. I would definitely recommend! They do a great job! Open Mondays! They even do birthdays, nails and facials! How cute is that! A very open, and accepting environment for any child!

Great Experience, lots of distractions for my son to enjoy. He wasn’t the whiny and screaming but he clearly wasn’t into getting a haircut. Our hairdresser did great and we finally got his hair cut (much needed!). Looks great and now he’s a proud “big boy” I love that they give them a little prize at the end, but I think $20.99 is a little high for a haircut but I did it because he needed it so bad and they allow for walk-ins. Photo is after is haircut, before the hair was almost down to his eyes and definitely covered his ears :/

Nicole DeFelippi, or Nicki, is hands down the absolute best hairdresser I could have for my son! We have been going to her for a little over 3 years and my only regret is not finding her sooner! She’s extremely kind and patient, and truly cares about building a relationship full of trust and laughter with your child. I highly recommend her for any of your child’s hair needs!
