Awful experience! My son was completely traumatized. I let them know ahead of time that he is extremely nervous and they did nothing to help. They strapped him in and just started buzzing his hair all off without letting him get used to the sound of anything. I have never seen him scream and cry so hard. It was heart wrenching. I know it wasn’t easy for the hair dresser, but she didn’t even give him a chance to warm up. All they seem to care about is making sure they don’t go over their 15 minute slot per person and that includes checking in and cashing out after. How can they say on their website that they work with children with sensory issues and autism?! It has left me with a child now terrified to get his hair cut ever again.

Snip itZ in seekonk is simply the best. From a full time working mom of 3 it’s difficult to find the time, the online appointment system is the best. I’m able to make a timed, same day appointment. No waiting in the salon they text you when to come inside once you’ve arrived. They are very professional and quick. The place is clean, and the staff is wonderful. Last appointment they even put some color in my boys hair(washable) .. which was a HUGE hit! Very thankful for the online system and no waiting around all day as prior when they didn’t have appointments the usual was at least a 3 hour wait. Highly recommend you make an appointment today!

Scheduling is a disaster. I walked in at 4:05 for my 4:05 appointment. Stylist was not ready and still cleaning from a previous client. My son melted down for a minute and when I suggested I take him outside to calm down she said there’d be no time and she wouldn’t be able to cut his hair. We were in the car leaving at 4:10. The tight scheduling and $18 price point is ridiculous, especially when dealing with children. We’d been three times previously but after the rude response to my toddler being a toddler, I will not be returning.

I remember waiting hours for a haircut for my son and was considering going to another hairdresser. I always wondered why they didn’t allow appointments like most salons. Seems like good practice for a business to allow appointments if you want to retain customers who don’t want to waste their time waiting around. Especially with Covid precautions in place, I’m not too keen waiting with a crowd of people for a haircut. Now I just hop on in the AM, make my appointment and it’s been working great and reduces the unknown. I can plan my day without the stress of how much time I have to allot for one kids haircut. I love our hairdresser and I’ll keep coming back. Thank you for adapting to a new environment and making this customer comfortable. Hopefully things won’t go back to that walk in model!

I used to take the little ones to the location in Warwick but the last couple of times we have gone, the experience hasn’t been the same as before. Decided to try this location: it’s actually closer compared to the warwick one, the decor is more inviting, kid-friendly, and the stylist we had (Amy-Jo) was great! She listened to our concerns, did a great job with the haircut (no cuts either!) and was very friendly. Will definitely be going back.

The policy of scheduling appointments is TERRIBLE & what’s worse is if you’re 5 minutes late (God forbid there’s traffic), the stylist turns you away. Customers are rushed and while it’s supposed to be a “fun child experience”, it’s actually nothing it’s designed to be. We will NEVER be back after being turned away for being 5 minutes late.

I had an appointment yesterday that I made for 5pm.I got there at 4:45PM. I went to check in and the lady at the desk was extremely rude and said she did not have my son in the system. The lady was so rude and not helpful while trying to make another appointment for my son. Another lady Laura came and she was also not helpful and had such a terrible attitude. Both these girls looked completely miserable and were rude while I was holding my son and had my daughter with me. I understand my appointment didn’t go through in the system but to be miserable and not help me is something else. I left so upset and unfortunately I will not be returning here again. This is suppose to be a place for children to come and these two employees looked like they were not happy to be employed here at all. Hopefully they get helpful and happy staff.

The haircut is OKAY, but I have to take him elsewhere to get areas fixed as his bangs look terrible.
