I have been going to Snappy for over seven years. Sophia, is the best, hands-down! Not only is she a phenomenal nail professional, she’s a really wonderful down to earth human being. I had a bad experience a couple of times because I always think it’s a one-off. However, after the last time of going in and the techs not being able to do a simple design or communicate anything with me I’m not going anymore. One of the times I specifically asked for yellow and because I wasn’t watching she used black. The most recent time I asked for a very generic flower and she didn’t do one at all on my pedicure when I insisted that she do one on my hands it was like she was doing brain surgery…. it’s supposed to be relaxing but I had a headache from being so annoyed

The nails turned out great however, it was not what I asked for. I asked for my daughter to get her “nails longer” that wasn’t with tips but was unaware of the process that it took. My pedicure tech confirmed what we wanted and confirmed the price. I went onto my pedicure and my daughter went on to her manicure. During the process, I had realized my daughter was not getting what we asked for. I asked my tech to please relay the information to my daughters tech and she told her something I did not understand. It was in a different language which was totally fine but I was under the impression she was telling her to then do dip nails per her suggestion. My daughters tech proceeded to do a regular gel manicure and completely ignored my request. I then asked again if she was getting them longer with dip and my tech then asked me to ask the tech myself. I asked the tech myself and the tech proceeded to tell me I did not ask for it. I had asked for the service from the very beginning and was willing to pay extra. Instead my daughter got gel which she was happy with and so it was dropped. Then, another tech commented on a scar on my daughters face from a mauling accident she had when she was 4 years old. My daughter was mortified. We left and my daughter was in tears. I am now at home reminding my daughter of how beautiful she is and to “ignore the ladies at the nail salon”. I will never recommend this place. It’s one thing to say I didn’t ask for a service, then refuse to do that service after further clarifying and it’s another thing to comment on someone’s insecurity. Let alone a child. Shame on this location. I will tell everyone to avoid it at all costs.

The nail techs are amazing so I refer my family and friends to this location but it seems like this nail salon has very poor ventilation. I have asthma and my chest got super tight while being in there making it hard to breathe. As I was getting my nails dipped my eyes were burning extremely bad that I had to step outside but they continued to burn as I went back in. I have went to several other nail salons and I have never experienced this. The ventilation is super poor, it’s horrible for the nail techs as they spend majority of their time there and for the public. There is no air flow what so ever like there should be with all those chemicals, very unhealthy.
