I spent a lot of time in the chair here at Smilin Rick’s and it was some of my favorite memories to date. Ian is a fantastic artist and took my ideas to the next level. He completed my entire right arm sleeve in about a months time. He also completed a half sleeve on my left arm which is not photographed below. I will be coming back to complete my second arm sleeve, and hopefully start a full leg sleeve in the near future. Highly recommend this shop!

Would NOT recommend, had to give 1 star but would prefer to give no stars. Took a design in and the artist Dallas didn’t like where I wanted to put the tat. He tried to talk me into making the tattoo much larger than I wanted and on a different part of my body than I wanted. He questioned why I wanted the tat that I wanted….doesn’t matter, it’s my body and my tat. The design has significant meaning to me but that didn’t matter to him. He was worried is reputation would be tarnished. I think his bad attitude tarnishes his reputation. Jordan’s attitude wasn’t much better and she kept agreeing with Dallas. I ended up going to a different place and that artist didn’t question me at all, gave me exactly what I wanted and I think it turned out great (exactly as expected). Horrible service at Smilin Rick’s. My friend had used Smilin Rick’s in the past and he won’t be going back there again. Also note….this was my 13th tattoo, so not my first and I knew what I wanted.
