Critical: PunctualityWe made at an appoint for 3 people at 1:45 but only one of us got our nails done after waiting 30 minutes. While I was waiting my turn for over an hour, they let three other people in front of me who had appointments for much later times. When my mom told the owner that we had been waiting for over an hour she was rude and dismissive and made snarky comments to my sister about my mom for the rest of the manicure. Her nails turned out ok at best and had completely different lengths. While I was waiting my turn for over an hour, they let three other people in front of me who had appointments for much later times. I went there to get my acrylic nails off and ended up waiting 40 minutes to get in the chairs while they kept booking appointments and letting people come even though they were behind then I sat there for another 10 minutes and then when they took off my nails it was painful. Manicure, Pedicure

Generally nice people. However, like other reviews have pointed out, this salon has scheduling issues. I have made appointments on 2 separate occasions and in both instances ended up waiting 40 mins + for service. It would be one thing if they told you when you walked in that they had misjudged the timing. Instead, they indicate they will be ready any minute, but keep pushing out the timing. It not a great way to run a business IMO.

Great service, good quality mani & pedi, including gel mani treatment. They also do dip powder manis but I have yet to try it out. Location is in a simple humble little shop in downtown Orinda, clean and all laid out to accommodate up to maybe 10 people at a time. Technicians are friendly, informative, and did a great job. Special shout out to Yen for my incredible luxury pedi – first one in almost a year since COVID and she gave me beautifully polished and pampered feet!

This is an amazing nail spa! The people who work here are fantastic and they do a great job. There are so many colors to choose from and their price is quite reasonable. I went here with my sister, mom and friend on a rainy day. It was so cosy and compterble. I would highly recommend Smiley Nail Spa for getting your nails done.

This is a clean place, the manicurists are pleasant and professional, there is no waiting, if you have an appointment. They did a great job with my dry cuticles without questioning my lack of caring for my nails. Will visit again.

My girlfriend placed an appointment for 2 to get pedicures at 1pm and they were only given hot water to soak (that was refreshed twice because it was taking so long) in for 40 minutes before walking out. At which time the staff tried frantically to apologize and start the pedicures.
