The location is convenient and clean. The staff was nice and welcoming. Check-in was a fast and easy process. The individual that assisted me with my scan was very knowledgeable. He did a great job explaining the process before and after getting the aligners. The process was done within the quoted time of 30 minutes. The cost was literally half the cost I was quoted for invisaligns! I look forward to the process and obtaining the smile I’ve been dreaming about for years.

I would give them a 5 star if my daughter had no issues with her treatment plan. But after she was finished her retainer tray arrived very very late and the last tray that she was wearing had cracked and no longer was useable. So by the time her retainers showed up her teeth had shifted and the retainers didn’t fit. Their solution was a new scan and new aligners. But this has been one of the smaller annoyances. The real trouble is trying to deal with the help over the phone. Every call takes two or three because the first person never gets it correct and usually the order is canceled, then when you call back they have no record of the call. When you try to escalate the call they just hang up on you and you have to call back and go through the script again before they tell you they are certain to be able to deal with the issue and they won’t escalate the call. This all takes hours and hours. So after all this, I should have taken my daughter to a Brick and Mortar orthodontist, it would have been way less hassle, and that alone is worth the increase in costs.

Extremely outraged. I’ve been in a cancellation process for over six months to receive my refund because of how bad they made my aligners, they kept cutting my gums and caused excruciating pain, even the new aligners they sent after I had to redo the kit were bad and still nothing not even a call. I’ve been calling over and over again and they keep telling me I have to wait 2-10 business days, so on September 8th I received my final email. “Please wait 2-10 business days” once again I waited, I even gave them an extra week because I’ve been through this multiple times. I just called and was told that the cancellation process hasn’t even gone through, so now I have to wait ANOTHER 2-10 business days now I’m getting calls from a debt collector telling me that I owe Smile Direct Club over $2,000 when I was told that my account was cancelled. I definitely would NOT recommend this to ANYONE. I even asked to talk to the owner or supervisor and they said they’ll tell me I have to wait 2-10 business days. If I could rate negative stars I would. This shouldn’t even be a business. Bad customer service and everything.

Run… Run fast away. This is scam on every level!!! I wish someone could have told me how bad it is. All that happened is pushed a front tooth inward and nothing else changed. In 4-6 months there is no way teeth can move that fast said my Dentist. He was familiar with Smile Direct Club and told me they’ve had patients who have had terrible results with them. No doctors checking results. Doctor said everything looks good and all they had me do is open my mouth and snap a picture and that was it. I had to beg them to have a check up, I told them I was calling my Lawyer and magically they had a Doctor call me within days. Now I owe over a $1000 I took a line of credit with their financing. They screw you too!

My experience at the Minnetonka was amazing my consultant was Ashe’, she was very witty and fun and made my day, and she made it comfortable talking about my damaged teeth. I was pretty skeptical after my 3D scan, it has a pretty pushed sales pitch. I am in sales myself and there are much better ways of “making a sale” than being pushy. I am 3/4 into my treatment and the liners have fit very well and are making great progress with my teeth. I did not have a lot of correction to make, and I think that should be their target audience from wheat I have ready. These do well for mild to medium correction. Pretty dang happy with the change and I’m looking forward to being done in a few weeks. We’ll see how the post-treatment nighttime retainers do.

Most definitely would not recommend – my aligners didn’t fit right after the 4th aligner. When I let them know, they sent me new aligners, which barely fit. I kept going, as recommended, and got to aligner 14/20. Once I tried 15, it stopped fitting. I had another round mailed and they didn’t fit. They made me go back to their facility for a remeasure, and instead of offering compensation for my time and the inconvenience, blamed me! Finally, after the remeasure, I was told I had to have a new treatment plan, which I was told would be discussed. No one contacted me and I was sent 16 new retainers to start over. Now, I’m on 9/16 and none of them fit again. I tried online customer service and was informed that, despite being a 24-hour service, no one was available. What was supposed to have been 40 weeks is now at the year mark with no end in sight.

Smile direct is a scam! My wife and I both purchased their retainers because of the decent reviews! We both had extreme fitment issues, you can never get ahold of anyone and sit on hold forever, if you finally do get ahold of someone and they send you a plan to get new aligners you have to spend hours of your time and send in pictures of your teeth, where the aligners were not fitting etc… the aligners fit great for the first 4-5 weeks then we’re not even close after that! They say you can cancel and get your money back, but I have been trying for 2 months! They make it impossible! Go buy Invisalign and talk to someone face to face! You will regret buying from smile direct I know we did!

I wish there was a way you could respond to reviews on here responding to what Kenzie lee said they have the worst customer service literally the worst and very pushing to pay. I thank god I went the traditional braces route please do not fall for this scam. Aligners won’t fix your bite! Please consult with an orthodontist or a general dentist to see if you qualify for aligners or not before getting any teeth related. Please don’t waste your time here. I never ever wrote a review but I’m making sure no one ever false for their filthy scam!!!!!!
