Compete scam. I went for a scan waited a couple weeks for my aligners to arrive and when I tried week one, there was some space on my top left row. Basically there’s a tooth that required a fill in and I got that taken care of BEFORE the scan. They seem to have forgotten about that and that tooth prevented the rest of the aligners to fit on perfectly (bottom row was perfect) week 2 aligners don’t fit because week 1 wasn’t an accurate fit. I called Smile Direct club and for some reason it takes you to corporate where they will proceed to put you on hold and send you to different representatives for an hour, only to tell you we will send an email to give you further instructions. No email was sent. Called back, they told me to chew the mints and use the filer to make it fit which is impossible because this is a fill in, mints will not help. Went back in to the local Smile Direct Club and was able to get another X ray because the lady there agreed with me that this doesn’t look right at all. She then said they will get back to you in 72 hours……which they didn’t. So I called them AGAIN and asked why I never got a call and they told me I wasn’t approved of new aligners and that I should still get the smile I want with CROOKED ALIGNERS. I then ask them “what happens if all of my teeth aren’t straight by the end of the process and they respond witb “we will start the process over and if we feel you’ve followed all instructions properly, there will be no charge. I’m currently trying to cancel and they have me waiting 3 business days for a representative to call me back for the cancellation. Moral of the story. This is a scam and you should go to a dentist for you to get a referral to a local orthodontist. Salute to everyone whose had a great experience.

This company is horrible. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone or on chat support. They scheduled my appointment for Monday but, according to google maps, they are closed that day. Needed to confirm my appointment since we are coming from over an hour away. Will not let a company that is this disorganized and hard to reach anywhere near my teeth. Imagine if I had a more serious issue. I would be left completely on my own. Also, all of these reviews state that the technician answered all of their questions. No reviews on if the products actually worked for their teeth. What a scam!

Great experience! Cosmo took great care to explain all the steps and answer all my questions. He made me feel really comfortable and didn’t make me feel pressure to move forward if I wasn’t ready. Process was so simple and smooth and they get you in and out in a half hour. Just got my virtual results and can’t wait to get started!

Went for the 3D scan, which was pleasant enough, but after getting a quote I clarified I was not going to be charged the 1,950 without further consultation. I was repeatedly reassured I would not be charged anything until I had spoken with a doctor. Sure enough 3 days after my 3D scan I got an email saying my purchase was successful and my card was charged $1,950. They had used my card from when I ordered the initial impression kid several months prior. Had to dispute the charge with my credit card and after numerous calls to SmileDirect was able to cancel the purchase. Even the representative on the phone said it was “sketchy”.

I’m glad smile direct club opened a scan center in Hartford. Which is only 45 minutes away. Being a stay at mom I wasn’t sure if I could bring my kids. I have an infant and four other children younger than nine. I had no other choice so I risked it and brought them(which turned out fine). When I got there I was impressed. It was in a beautiful cooperative facility. I got there an hour early so I wouldn’t be late trying to find parking I parked on the street which was only 2 dollars for 2 hours and easy to find. You can park in the garage and have them validate the ticket though. Checking in was simple and the receptionist was nice even though my younger children touched everything. I was seen almost immediately by Jimmy who was very patient with my kids that were touching everything in site in his office. He was very nice, professional, and informative. The scanning process was quick but thorough. They give you lip balm and a led teeth whitening kit. Can’t wait to get my braces!

I was so nervous for my appointment and that all changed as soon as I walked in. I was greeted by a very friendly staff and they instantly made me feel comfortable. I had the pleasure of having Melissa do my scan and she was amazing! She was super nice and informative, but not pushy at all; it honestly felt like a conversation with a friend. She answered all the questions I had without me even having to ask! The scan itself was quick and easy. I now feel like I have all the information I need and am excited to start my smile journey!
