My experience with the BlowDry Room has been great. My hair feels healthier and the staff was very welcoming. The look of the place has elegance. I walked in and was immediately greeted with comfortable slippers for my feet to keep the floor nice. Gabrielle was my stylist. She is a great communicator that educated me every step of the way. Extremely horrendous experience! I asked for a specific hairstyle and was told they could not achieve the look. I was then shown pictures of a hairstyle similar to the one I requested and was told the finished product would look close to the pictures. My hair was a complete mess and was on the contrary to what I was told I’d receive. I was burned by the flat irons on multiple occasions and the stylist also held the flat irons on the same piece of hair for long periods of time stating that my hair is “really thick”. When I got home, I washed the style out immediately and found that some pieces of my hair would not curl back up at all and was heat damaged. I called, presented all of these issues to the stylist, and requested a refund. She denied the refund and did not take responsibility for anything.
