I went in and showed her a picture of what I wanted (a balayage) and she said she could do it. I told her specifically that I did not want my hair cut because I have been growing it out for 5 years and it was finally shoulder length. 1. All she did was add bleach to the top of my head which left blunt white strips in my roots. She then proceeded to take a hair brush full of bleach and brush my hair with it. 2. After rinsing it she turned me away from the mirror and took scissors and “chopped” my hair. I literally mean chopped. Then proceeded to tell me “it needed to be done”. My mom called to complain once I got home to show her and the lady told her that it only turned out so bad because my hair was so damaged and that she has 30 years of experience so she’s “knows what she is doing” to which my mom responded “for someone with 30 years of experience, if you thought someone’s hair was too damaged to do than wouldn’t you tell them that?

The stylist was friendly and supportive. Even though I only had her cut an eighth inch off from the sides and back, I came in with a # 2 taper (1/4 inch) she finished with a # 1 ½ (5/32 inch) sides and back taper. She only charged me for the bang-trim price. Because she only dusted my haircut.

This was my first time going to this establishment. I got a simple hair cut. My bangs were cut in a rainbow shape and the woman left many long uncut stands in my bangs and all over my head.
