I ask for a haircut and highlights. Explained the haircut I wanted (or I thought I did). From past experiences and the price list $30 for a haircut and style? I wanted a few (4-5) highlights? $40? And I knew what I could afford. An hour and a half later my bill was over $120. My hair was all cut off (not the cut I ask for) and not one highlight. She was very friendly and professional as she did not hear a single word I said. And yes a vast improvement BUT not what I ask for.I felt completely taken advantage of. And broke. I cried.

I live an hour away in Hot Springs and was going to be up in kalispell the online check in only gave you the option of 20 minutes if they had where I could have put my time in I would have booked online. I will not be back. Found another hair salon down the road I am familiar with. Was able to walk in. And where I went does not charge an osha charge which I think is a scam by smartstyle. When you add 16.97 for haircut 3.99 for osha that is 20.00 bucks plus tip your spending 25.00 I only paid 16.00 haircut plus tip

Took my kid for haircut and the stylist literally stopped mid cut to talk with and look thru books for some other woman that wanted to color her hair for just over 20 minutes making my day longer and kid uncomfortable. It was really unacceptable especially for my first time there wont go again ever
