Critical: PunctualityI arrived in the salon between 11:35 and 11:40 for my 11:45 appointment. where there was one stylist who was putting rollers in a client’s hair. Since I only saw one or two rollers in her hair It appeared to me that she had just begun. Finally after about 7 minutes or so the stylist asked if I needed help. I said that I had an 11:45 appointment to which she responded “here?”. She asked me if I had shopping to do that perhaps I could come back a little later and I repeated, but I have 11:45 an appointment at this point it was already 11:55. And she told me to sit in one of the other styles chairs and wait and as soon as she was done with this client she would help me because she was the only one there. The story I got from a remaining stylist is that a language barrier cause a customer complaint because they didn’t understand pricing of several services they requested and Bernie handled correctly but management didn’t like her and used as excuse to fire her. Very unprofessional management. I’m seeking Bernie out to follow her wherever she went. She was the best stylist there! I tried to get an appointment with Bernie who two of us had been going to for over a year and frankly, who was busier then other stylists at this salon. The story I got from a remaining stylist is that a language barrier cause a customer complaint because they didn’t understand pricing of several services they requested and Bernie handled correctly but management didn’t like her and used as excuse to fire her.
