Not sure if she was nervous or rushing due to our appointments being scheduled for 5:30pm and yet our cuts weren’t started until 6:45pm, or what the issue was but I had huge chunks of hair that wasn’t cut on the bottom layer. When cutting hair, you’re supposed to have the client look down to ensure that nothings missed yet while I was there, twice, I found chunks sticking out that was missed so the stylist did fix those areas but then when I got home, I checked further and there was more areas throughout my hair that weren’t even on the bottom layer. While k was there, I even asked her if she’d like me to stand up as my hair is down to the middle of my back (thinking she’s having difficulty due to the length), she took me up on the offer and had me stand, yet it still wasn’t cut even! Needless to say, we definitely won’t be going back again. I even stressed that we’re in a wedding next week, hoping she’d be extra diligent on ensuring that our cuts turned out right. I get that you close at 7pm and want to go home but it’s not our fault that you over booked that evening. Our cuts shouldn’t have been rushed. Prices are also outrageous. Over $30 for a women’s cut that wasn’t even cut correctly. Overall, awful experiences. We’ll be looking for other salons in the future.

Critical: QualityI wanted my hair layered so that it would curl. It wasn’t layered right. I went back and explained exactly what I wanted and the lady “fixing” my hair gave me a totally different cut that what I requested. Reverse layers that make my hair STRAIGHT. I went in with shoulder length hair for a trim, now I have a pixie cut and my hair sticks into my neck and irritates my skin. What a mess. We are new to the area so was not sure who to go to, I had an appointment on the north side of town, got there early, receptionist/employee she phoned stylist to let her I was there, she cancelled on me !!!! Went to Walmart, saw the SmartStyle salon and thought, what the heck, walked in and got my haircut/totally new style with Corina. Wow – so glad I got stood up by the other salon. Corina knew exactly what I wanted. My hair was down between my shoulder blades and permed 5 months ago and was looking very wild. My hair is now tamed and styled and looks fabulous. Thank you agin Corina, I will be back for trims etc.

2 hour wait saying she had a perm to do, went back hour and 30 minutes later had been taken off of list, and no one waiting, showed her pictures of the hair cut I wanted came out looking like a 12 year old boy, nothing like what i showed her and she kept cutting more and more off.
