I wished I could give a ZERO star! This Smart Style has been open/ mostly closed, RANDOMLY, for several WEEKS! Online allowed me to check in, so I thought it was open! Wasted my time picking up, driving over, walking an elderly, handicapped person with me, only to find it closed! Why allow check in if you’re closed?! WHEN are they ever open?! I emailed, complained, etc…NEVER heard from anyone! I will find a new salon and just order my products straight from Regis online!

My WHOLE family including myself struggled to find a place to get our hair done in SV, we stumbled upon Kayla B the store manager at Smart Styles one day and my son got his first hair cut without screaming and crying. It only got better from there, I got my hair cut by her EXACTLY how I wanted it! And my husband the same!!! Now my mother and my grandma only go to Kayla and we cannot begin to say enough good things about her!!! My son is now looking forward to every hair cut and has truly bonded to Kayla, as we all have. My husband went there as a walk-in, waited for over 30 minutes only for another walk-in to be seen first….the women’s excuse was he was put on the other stylist’s list to be seen. Now my husband was being very patient but what stylist would pass over the person waiting to help another who just walked in. Keep in mind the stylist who was suppose to cut his hair felt it was more important to sell the hair care products to other walk-ins. Joke’s on them because my husband likes to give great tips close to holidays, moreover we now know why they are working in a salon in the middle of Walmart. He never wants to go back since he felt like an inconvenience to them. It really is bad business.

Jenna is amazing! Every time I’ve butchered my hair or dyed it she has been able to rescue it! The time someone else gave me a horrible cut I was sure I was just stuck with it until it grew out. Recently got my haircut here. Completely terrible experience. I have a hard time getting my haircut, and the hairstylest didn’t make it any easier. We exchanged few words, and little happened. She spent more time blow drying my hair then cutting it. I felt so uncomfortable I just wanted to escape. My back was soaked from her washing it, but luckily I had a spare shirt. My first experience was rather nice, but the recent associates I encountered made me feel unwelcome. I work at walmart, so it seemed like a good place to stop in before a shift, but I will not be visiting here again.
