I’ve had issues with this place trying to schedule appointments online! I show up for my scheduled appointment and am told that I’ll need to wait 30 minutes or sometimes longer! Once I even stopped in to make the appointment and when I arrived was told I needed to wait 30 minutes! What is the point of making an appointment if you have to wait so long?? I finally couldn’t take it anymore so I contacted the company with my complaints and concerns. That was a month ago and I still haven’t received any kind of reply! On top of it, usually the hair stylists are not all that Pleasant there anyway! I did start going to Great Clips and so far have been very happy with the cuts, adherence to appointment schedules and the customer service there so I would highly recommend them over smart style!

I usually cut my own hair, but this time I messed up the back. I went in and said not to cut the front or sides, just smooth out the back. She did a really good job on the back and said she was just going to use the thinning scissors to thin out front a bit. I have short hair with long side bang. She totally changed my hairstyle cutting it in layers and short bangs. This is why I have cut my own hair for 30 years. They just don’t listen. I had no idea those hacking scissors would alter my whole hairstyle. I really didn’t realize how short it was until I got home and washed it. So bummed

I dont usually go there to get my haircut,but Stephanie at the Lake Pleasant Parkway Smart Style was the bomb! Awesome experience all around! i got a kick ass haircut and also picked up some dynamite products to use.She made the whole experience so fun it makes me wanna go back everyday! Her personality was amazing! Very easy to talk to and kept it real which I loved! i will definately be returning and I would encourage anyone else to do the same!

Stylist interrupted me to call over another stylist and gossip about previous client. You do that in private, not in front of a client. She claims she just needed to “tell” her. I think it could have and should have waited. I asked her to just finish my hair and gossip later.

The young blonde lady that works there is the sweetest lady ever, as well as one of the other workers. But as for the management there, very poor customer service. They were rude to me, as well as one of my friends that went there as well. Won’t be returning to this location unfortunately.
