My wife went for a cut and style and the stylest was rude because she was in a hurry and then the stylest told my wife she would not be able to style. My wife was headed out of town and the whole purpose the the visit was so my wife could get a cut and see how her hair was going to look before visiting family. Owner is a jerk, said he doesn’t care about reviews. Got an in person quote for all over single color, he pointed to the sign that said they add $10 for every 6 inches past shoulders (mine is 6) first he said “$20 extra” and then after he finished talking he said it would be $30 extra. I told him my hair isn’t 18 inches past my shoulder and he took out a rule which showed it was only 6. He shrugged and still said $30 extra. He’s very rude and abrasive. This place is a scam.

Haircuts used to be included with a perm, but this salon charged me $17.50 for an “express” haircut IN ADDITION to the outrageous cost of the perm of $60. No senior discount for either the perm or the haircut. I was told when I asked for a senior discount “this area is 90% seniors”. No discount was given. I will not be using this SmartStyle again. I will say the stylist was pleasant.

Very clean and relaxing. They have one of the best hair stylist I’ve ever came across. This lady really knows her stuff. From simple haircuts, to perms and getting a dye done. If their busy when you check in, make an appointment and go shopping while you wait. It’ll be well worth the money you spend on your hair as well as your thankful tip. I won’t go anywhere else.

I always liked going here and my hairstylist but after today will be looking for new spot. I was astounded when I was charged $107.00 for a cut and highlights. They added a basic style on and an express cut. She used a new product on my hair and it made my hair feel greasy and it looked horrible. After I got home I combed it to take a better look as I did say I wanted it shorter in the back and the back looks fantastic but the sides after a comb out look horrible. One side is shorter and the other is longer. I know it will grow out but I did show her a picture of how I wanted it again like before but not at all what it should be. It is what I wanted on the back but the sides are horrible!! I feel for what I paid is not right! I want part of my money back for this horrible experience! Please ask before using new products. What a horrible experience it was and I wanna cry due to the horrible cut on the uneven sides. Please refund me some of my money. What I was charged is horrible for the cut I got and no caring about the new the new product used . The hairdresser even remarked how bad the product was but never got money knocked off. Did I say I liked the cut and leave a tip? Yes but also said don’t ever use that product again . After I got home and saw the uneven cut I cried but will never go back there again after the price I was charged ! So wrong on their part. Refund part of my money cause $107 was too much for the results I got! Will never go there again after today!

While cutting my 13 year old grandchild’s hair she asked him why he was such a miserable person and the told him he probably didn’t fit in at school. My grandchild is very shy and quiet, so Tammi’s presumptions were hurtful and uncalled for. And then while they were paying the bill Tammi asked my oldest grandchild if that was their brother and said that too bad because he is a miserable person. My two teenage grandchildren had a very disturbing experience with the stylist Tammi. While cutting my 13 year old grandchild’s hair she asked him why he was such a miserable person and the told him he probably didn’t fit in at school. My sibling got a haircut and everything ran smoothly the conversation was good and the haircut turned out to their liking. After there haircut they went to the bathroom and i was receiving my haircut. I feel a bit insulted because my hair covers my face and they asked about it as normal people do they were a bit pushy with it and said i should get it cut because my eyes were beautiful i said i prefer it in my face as it is my choice and asked not to cut it to short. They cut it. They asked if i has friends or hung out with people and i said i have alot this summer they replyed with “oh social environments dont seem like your thing” and continues to ask when school starts for me and i told them. They questioned if i was excited and said it would be good for me to make atleast a friend. They kept asking me about my interests adding remarks that probably weren’t they best. I took my 13 year old daughter in for a back to school haircut which was advertised in front of the store and we were treated like an inconvenience from the start. The manager (I assume) sitting at the register was neither friendly or welcoming. The hair stylist was rude and very rough. I think she was angry that he had given her a client to work on so she took that out on my daughters scalp. She had my daughter stand for her haircut (filling her brand new Van’s shoes with hair) and didn’t even do a nice job. It was uneven and very choppy which is annoying because we only asked for a simple trim, nothing fancy. I took a chance on convenience and will never make that mistake again. Also, the advertisement said $13.50 and we were charged the full $15.50 amount.
