I spent 250…. for something I didn’t get.. I asked for red hair. Blonde highlights. They tone down my highlights so it would “blend better” with out asking me.. If I wanted it to blend and not pop I wouldn’t have picked Blonde to begin with. I specifically stated I didn’t want one color of hair. You can hardly see the highlights unless your in a bright room. I told her I couldn’t see my highlights it all looked like one color. She said I wasn’t close enough to the mirror I mean I guess if I want people to be less then a foot away to see more then just a red blob… I should have done it my self.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI won’t be using this place anymore. I have tried many times to get my hair cut the way that I want, and they always do what they want. Even showing them a picture, they still don’t get it right. It’s not that it comes out bad, it’s just not what I want and repeating myself gets obnoxious… I did stop going there for a hair cut 2 years ago because I did find someone that will cut my hair correctly… unfortunately, they do not do color there, so I figured I would go back since I have never had a problem with color .Today was the last bit of hope I had for the salon. First, I told the stylist I don’t want my hair cut at all and then showed her what I wanted. The pictures I had was from another stylist that got her hair done and had a video with instructions on how to do it. (I didn’t have the video anymore because I deleted it on accident and I refuse to have tictok on my phone. I don’t want to fall into it addictive trap ever again…) But the stylist wanted to tell me what is best… then she told me the price… $300 for just color. Ya, no… I have never paid that much for color at any SmartStyles or Salon. I figured this was just a sign not to do that hair style but I was curious on how much it would be for one color… $150… So they raised the prices almost 225%Conclusion, I don’t have a problem with paying that much if the quality is there… but the quality no longer fits the price.Pictures are of what I wanted…I won’t be using this place anymore. I had an appointment for a quick trim and ended up waiting over 20 minutes. I had also set up two other appointments for the same day but because I had to wait so long, the other cuts couldn’t be completed. The hairdresser was very kind but I was disappointed that I didn’t get the service I was hoping for. It is inside Walmart, so that’s probably a sign, lol!

Went in at 4 pm on Sunday to get a cut and color at the time they could only take cash i said I’d go get cash if they could do my hair she tells me she didnt think she would have time to do by hair before she left im like ok fair enough. When can you do it.. she said any day i said tomorrow at 530 she said ok have you on the calendar with Melissa for tomorrow at 530 so tonight i show up and Melissa tells me she closes at 6 and wont do a cut and color this late.

I brought my 3 school aged girls here, ages 5, 9 and 13. The 3 stars are for the stylists who were able to cut a straight line in the back of their hair. The lost 2 stars are because it cost me $17+ tip for them to sit down, get a cut, and walk away. The cost did not include washing or styling, which are pretty standard and a nice benefit of getting a professional haircut. Clearly it is my fault for not asking first, but for such little work, I should have tackled it myself. There was basically no wait time which was also nice, and it’s convenient that is inside Wal-Mart, but will not be returning unless more is offered for basic services.

Went on the spur of the moment to get a cut that was a drastic change for me. I got about 7 inches cut and I love it! I wish I could remember the stylists name. She took her time and took off a little at a time so I didn’t go in to shock. I will be back!
