Critical: Professionalism, QualityIsela did my perm today. Along with it feeling rushed, as if she just wanted to get me out of her chair, and having a few strands in the front that have little to no curl, I left with a chemical burn on the back of my neck. I was then given a DRY towel to wipe it off with (once I showed her even though I believe it was VERY noticeable) and she applied aloe from the waxing kit they had on hand. It was nice that she seemed to care but because of what happened I will not be returning to this location and in the future will strongly advise anyone I know against it as well. There are simple ways to prevent this (such as a towel on the edge of the sink or more attention to detail) and I feel corners were cut, leaving me with a painful result. I have had perms before and never had this reaction so it was due to the application rather than the treatment itself. The attached photo is 3 hours after, the redness has gone down some but the itching and burning are still present.Service: PermsIsela did my perm today. Along with it feeling rushed, as if she just wanted to get me out of her chair, and having a few strands in the front that have little to no curl, I left with a chemical burn on the back of my neck.
