I called and specifically asked to make an appointment for my son with someone experienced with tight curly hair, c3. He had an afro about 6 inches long. He specifically asked for 2 inches off. Cheyenne did not understand what that meant. My son showed her a picture and said he wanted the top like the picture but he doesn’t want a fade on the sides. She proceeded to ask him lots of questions and he gave up trying to explain what he wanted. He 10 years old. His request was simple. She then started in on his hair with a brush. A BRUSH! I’ve never seen anyone take a brush to tight curly ethic hair before in my life. Then she got a plastic comb. Eventually she used a pick to rip at his hair. Unfortunately someone else took him to his appointment or I would have stopped her at this point. My son has a skin fade with lines throughout. The top varies from 1 to 2 inches splotchy and random. Then I called and spoke to Cheyenne who cut his hair. She told me she only used a pick on his hair. I had to press her to get her to admit she used a brush. Then she lied to me again saying he showed her a picture and said that was exactly what he wanted. Eventually she admitted he asked for a trim and only wanted two inches off but she didn’t know how to do that. Finally I asked if she had ever cut his hair type before. She said once. I specifically asked for someone with experience cutting ethnic hair. She then asked me, “How do you expect me to learn if I don’t practice?” Practice? She was practicing on my 10 year old’s beautiful thick head of hair. I paid her to practice cutting hair. He is embarrassed to be seen with his hair looking the way it does. He has always loved his curls and this has been an awful experience. Aside from making the top all one length which will be at least 3 inches shorter than he asked for, there’s no helping this haircut. It will just have to grow out.

Critical: QualityWORST HAIR CUT EVER! I walked into the store with long hair (mid-chest level) I asked for 2 inches to be taken off and some layers put in. She ended taking off 8 INCHES!! It doesn’t even touch my shoulders! On top of that, its unevenly cut so to get it fixed and evened out I am looking at having another 1.5-2 inches taken off and then $300 worth of extensions put in to get the length I had back. It took me 7 years to grow my hair out to that length due to my hair being thin and I am absolutely devastated. Cant even go out in public without wearing a hat now. Me and my boyfriend came in for a cupple of haircut. The girl only spent 5 minits on my bfs hair. She spent probably 15 on mine. I got my ear cut. She was jabbing my head with a razer not careful at all. After I got done and payed the 40 dollors. I looked at my hair and was patched the cuts weren’t straight and she didn’t take nearly enough of the top. We’re both shaving our head to fix what she did.

So a lady named Bernice messed up my son’s hair. She put a bunch of gel so I didn’t notice it was bad. After washing it at home I noticed the hair was so crooked . I went back there and the manager Sherri was so nice. She fixed his hair as it was possible and told me to come back for a free haircut next month so she can do it the right way . I’ve had great experiences there with other ladies, but this one in particular was terrible. I’m just glad the customer service was good and the manager was so understanding.
