Hello I came in for a haircut appointment today. I have semi long hair for a boy and I asked to get it just shorten but the same haircut as prior. before this haircut I could wear my hair in anyway and it looked fine, now I have to wear my haircut in one way for it to look fine. Regina took no time in asking questions or asking for the photo again, Regina looked at the photo for maybe 5 to 6 seconds and then started chopping. The first side that she started on, which was my left came out better than the right. she decided to put layers on the right side and not the left side! Also the back has three locks of hair left. I respect a hard-working lady and I respect the fact that Regina took the time to cut my hair which I am thankful for and blessed of. I want to say thank you to The salon and Regina, this is why I’m rating it 3.5 stars. Regina can get better with a little more practice and taking time to talk to her clients. Thank you!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityDo not EVER use Cathy if you care about your appearance or how you are treated. She was incredibly rude, argued with us the whole time, and would not listen to anything we said. She was even rude to coworkers while we were there. My son wanted a haircut that he could style and make messy on top. She kept saying he had to have curly hair no matter how many pictures we showed her of examples of straight haircuts he wanted. I almost left, and should have. She eventually assured us she understood what he wanted and could do it. What she ended up doing was cutting all the length he had grown out off the top of his head down to about and inch and spiked it with gel. There is absolutely no hair left to style at all. Maybe in 6 months when it grows back out he’ll be able to try again (somewhere else obliviously). I feel terrible for him. I know these types of salons can sometimes be hit and miss but, he has always gotten good haircuts here before. I let the lady at the front know what had happened so she could pass the information along to the manager. This woman should not be a stylist. My husband and son went up for haircuts yesterday 2/18/22, they wanted the same haircut, a fohawk. Well my husband got a decent cut, a few long hairs they missed but no big deal but they buzzed my son’s hair all the same length. My son is very upset about it, I could have saved my money and shaved his head myself! I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on, especially at $20+ a cut.
