TBH, I am not someone who puts a lot of time nor money into my hair. Take off any split ends and I am unlikely to complain. My standards are low. So, I wasn’t expecting much when I asked about a cut. As I was waiting, I watched a little boy (maybe 4?) nervously sit for a cut. The lady was great! Teasing him, reassuring him. Afterwards he ran up to his family jumping up and down, bragging on his fresh, spiked look. I was frankly amazed to see this level of care and competence in a Walmart setting. The same woman, Amber, cut my hair. Layers are perfect, hair feels amazing. Best cut I have had in years. The other person working also seemed pleasant and efficient. He was coloring an older lady’s hair and they carried on a lively conversation throughout. All around it seems like a well managed and professional salon.

I think when I went the lady was ready to go home. Not very friendly at first but then she started to come around. She did pretty good on my hair though. My hair is natural curly so I had her blow dry it straight, she did a great job.

The supposed hair stylist definitely needs more training on cutting hair. I never get the layers or the cut I want it’s always chopped. My friend went there and her hair got messed up too. It’s not the first but it will be my last time going there. Enough is enough on screwing up my hair. Good luck with future stylist. Hopefully they will be better trained. The more I look the more I find all the stringy hair the uneveness Is unbelievable. Now I have to pay another place to fix the screw ups this girl did. This is bullcrap an I’m not a happy customer at all. Never will I go back there or refer them. Very inexperienced stylist that work there. What a waste of money!!!!

Since losing Ariel awhile back my son had not found another hairstylist that could get his hair how he likes it nor take the time to listen, that was until today. I went in needing an idea of what I could possibly do to improve this awful cut that Aguilar’s in Belmont had left me with. I’d been trying to grow it out for several months & went to Aguilar’s for a longer style. The owner’s daughter cut it back to the shorter style that I had. I had to let it grow out again. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI was really expecting to get great service here being that the girl who booked my appointment was very nice. I had an appointment at 2:30 walked in and the lady was immediately rude to me. I was supposed to get a highlight and haircut and she said she wasn’t able to do the highlight because she booked appointments after my appointment was already booked so I said ok let’s just do the haircut she then went on to say she couldn’t because she just clocked out for lunch after she had just said she could do the haircut. I did nothing to be treated so poorly and also I am a good tipper so she missed out but definitely will never try and go back here.
