Back to being the great place I remember! After upper management changes, they hired a wonderful manager and stylist along with another stylist and it feels like you’re sitting with friends while you’re getting your hair done without that awkward silence….. Glad to be back!

Lexi did a fabulous job on my first perm and three days later when it clearly didn’t take she did another one with a great attitude and mastered a new “old” technique. She is an excellent stylist and Wendy and Heather are amazing mentors. So nice to be in the company of people who are clearly great at their jobs, they enjoy the company and they like each other and are kind and helpful to customers and each other. Great salon!

Many of the 5-star reviews are older (2+ months). About one month ago, owner noted that salon in under new management (today is 23Jan2020). Can I expect the great service and great stylists (Lexi, Hillary, Wendy, Shiloe, Heather) that people raved about a few months ago? I am hoping it is a positive sign that owner has recently responded to ALL posts and is engaged with their customers. I have been coming to this Smart Style location for a few years now, and since I’ve discovered Hillary, I’m not going anywhere else. She listens to me and asks questions about what I want each time, in addition to making great notes about each visit. She also tells me about product specials when I’m curious about new items. My most recent appointment was yesterday, when she managed to transform six months of “island hair” back to “normal member of society” hair. She is amazing. Bonus: Walking out of the salon and getting a huge compliment from your hubby on your hair. Thanks again, Hillary! 😀

Every single time I come back here they have raised the prices yet again. $19.98 now for a SIMPLE man’s haircut taking less than 10 minutes? Also included in that price is a shampoo and dry which I have never ever received. But you don’t get a discount. Add tip money and it’s near $24.99!!! Not for me anymore and I have been a customer for years.
