I want to let everyone know that STORMY THE LADY WHO DID a carmel hair color/ highlights to my dark brown almost black hair, freaking rocks. And I know I’ve put reviews on some higher end salons. I’ve even had a lady whom works on the bronco players wives here in Denver who charge a whole lot more to do my hair and stormy is right there with her as far as work goes for a much better price. She’s hands down the best I’ve ever had work on my hair. My style is exactly what I wanted, she read me right as I tried to explain what I wanted she found a pic we were going to try and get my hair color close to. Exactly what I was trying to tell her. I had read the reviews on Kelly and Stormy and how great they were. So, I was nervous and kind of excited to get my hair cut there. Stormy cut my hair. The left side was longer than the other, there was a chunk on the left side that was longer than the rest and there was a little straggley piece on the right that wasn’t even cut. I don’t know if it was something about me that made me not get the service as everyone else raves about.

Critical: ProfessionalismMy Wife made an appointment for 10:15am went in and the blonde lady told her that she was wrong ( my wife). When my wife showed her her appointment time at 10:15 the lady very very rudely said ” I Don’t Care What That Says” and proceeded to tell my wife her appointment is at 10:30 and that she was wrong ( My Wife) and to come back at 10:30 so since this was the only day she could have gotten her hair done, she did. When she came back at 10:30 the blonde lady said she would just have to wait. So after 20 more minutes she left. I wouldn’t go here if you want to be treated decently like every person should be. I was almost going to put 4 stars because i left super happy thought it looked good until I got home and straightened it the next day. It was not straight at all! So here I was getting ready for my sisters wedding and BAM she yells at me because the back is slanted and she told me not to go to smart styles to begin with (so it’s an I told u moment) . NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE.

I am happy with the outcome and my hairstylist was very patient (my hair was thick and dark) to get desired look that I wanted. I just wish they were more upfront with their pricing, (their price was reasonable but there are some unexpected fees when I checked out) , I didn’t achieve the color I wanted at first, it was too yellow and was toned again but wasn’t informed that they would charge me extra for the toner. It was my first time to color my hair so I don’t know much about it, would have been nice that if they ask you something, they would tell you as well that it cost extra then could decide after considering the cost. It was overall a good experience.

When I first got there I told the stylist and my son simply explained what he wanted done.The women agreed then kindly asked if I could wait outside the door ‘Due to covid’. And though perplexed, (with absolutely no one around 6ft apart and all 3 of us wearing a mask) I did just that. (Never Again) as I stood close by briefing the isles Finally after quite some time she was done and asked if we liked it. And by the look on my sons face and by all the patches on his poor head I asked if she could clean it up. And she did (reluctantly) but she did with excuses. But it wasn’t until we got home later that night that my son had finally told me that the stylist had to ask her manager for help hence the real reason I was probably asked to wait outside. (my son is 13yrs old by the way)
