Critical: ProfessionalismI walked in to SmartStyle Salon around 10:00 am on Monday morning and asked the hair stylist if she had time to cut my hair. The door was partially open. She said we are not open and my machine is broken. She also said she had a customer coming, if she shows up. I sat down outside the salon to wait. She finally opened the doors completely but did not acknowledge me sitting there. I sat there another 15 minutes and finally left. I walked in to SmartStyle Salon around 10:00 am on Monday morning and asked the hair stylist if she had time to cut my hair. The door was partially open. She said we are not open and my machine is broken. She also said she had a customer coming, if she shows up. I sat down outside the salon to wait. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityCame in early morning asking for a same day appointment and the lady told me she only had 5 hours from now. I took the appointment and she took down my name and phone number. I came back 5 minutes early for my appointment time and she told me she ran behind and was no longer able to take me. She asked if I wanted to reschedule, I said no and walked out. This is unprofessional as if you ran behind you could have taken less than 5 minutes to call me to tell me not to come back. Especially when I came back again 5 hours later. Why would I want to reschedule if you can’t commit to my first appointment and didn’t even bother to call me. Came in early morning asking for a same day appointment and the lady told me she only had 5 hours from now. I took the appointment and she took down my name and phone number. I came back 5 minutes early for my appointment time and she told me she ran behind and was no longer able to take me. She asked if I wanted to reschedule, I said no and walked out.
