I’ve been going to the same hair stylist for two years and I love her, but I was badly in need of a trim before vacation (growing out my pixie to a bob), and she was on vacation herself for another couple of weeks. Anyway, I was very nervously looking around the internet for a good stylist that was local and affordable, and I came upon Kayla and Ms. Song. I called a day before to ask questions and spoke to Kayla, and she was very warm and welcomed all my questions, and set me up with an appointment for the following day. Ms. Song was the one who cut my hair and I was SOOO happy with how it turned out! She made it look exactly like the style I had found on Pinterest, and she was very thoughtful and thorough in making sure I was pleased with what she was doing in the actual process of the cut! This definitely won’t be my last visit here!

She is very attentive, listens to your wishes and pays attention to detail when coloring your hair. She was friendly, personal, professional and super fast. I called and described what I wanted, and the color(purple). Was asked to come in for a consult. I went in and could tell immediately that the consultant did not want to do my hair. She spoke about the thinness of my hair and asked if I had ever colored before. I have. Right now my hair is unprocessed. The consultant started expressing doubt immediately, then asked what I was wanting. I showed her a picture and she said that it couldn’t be done. She doesn’t do that color. If she knew she doesn’t do purple, why waste my time and hers by having me come in? Don’t tell me it is nearly impossible to do, when I am showing you a picture of it. Obviously it can be done. I am glad that she recognized that her skill base could not meet my need, but I did not appreciate her wasting my time. She looked at my hair after I had just came in from the rain. She did not touch it, or see it brushed or dry. Her assessment certainly was not thorough or professional.

My color came out completely uneven it’s really light on the top half and almost black on the bottom I asked for a 4n color and got a 3n or darker. My haircut was rushed and not even done properly she just moved all my hair behind me and trimmed about an inch off did not even cut the front of my hair orr do sections and still charged me $25 and charged $93 for the color my hair is about half way down my back but the color came out uneven she was switching between me and another client leaving me sitting with the dye in my hair while cutting another women’s hair then leaving her hair half cut to wash my hair then leaving me at the wash station tocut more of the lady’s hair and she constantly did this back and forth between us for about 45 mins then rushed finishing my hair because another women was waiting .
