The lady’s there were all really nice and all but what I wanted came out TERRIBLE. My hair was falling out, DEAD by the end. NOTHING like the picture. It was completely DAMAGED and I felt like a CLOWN. Not even the way it was cut could save me. I would say if you’re going, get a simple look…but the fact that this lady knew she couldn’t do it and still touched my hair is insane!! The price I paid was not worth it at all. $125 down the drain. I do not recommend getting your hair dyed by Miss. Amy , I was not planning on saying any names but this cannot happen again.

I have been going to Smart Styles for awhile now and I make the drive from the Mabank/GBC/Payne Springs area because no here cuts my hair the way I want it. Shana at Smart Styles has been the one cutting my hair and I like how she cuts it … all the ladies there are very nice,polite and attentive! Danielle has cut both my husband’s and son’s hair and Brenda cut my son’s hair the other day and today, Amie cut my hair and I am happy with it! I have had my hair colored here a few times by Shana and I have always gotten good compliments on my hair !! I like going here and love the head massages!!!!

Had to go in twice to get my hair fixed. First time I asked for blong hair which I already had but needed the orange out I said NO silver I needed up leaving with silver, orange hair, wet not fully fixed like a normal hair salon would do. Called the next day because I seen what it looked like and asked them to fix it ended up spending 6 hours in there she asked to cut my dead ends off so I said fine but no layers. I haven’t done anything with my hair in a month and finally straightened it for the first time and my hair is all kinds of messed up different layers and uneven cutting. When I tried called up there no one answers. Don’t know why I went to Walmart to get my hair done in the first place these people do not deserve a license.

My husband went in for a haircut today but left very VERY unhappy with what he got. He even brought in a picture! The stylists missed so many spots that should have been cut, his lines are COMPLETELY uneven & the bottom of his hair is totally lopsided. For someone who had apparently been cutting hair for over 20 years, this lady had no idea why she was doing. Needless to say; we won’t be getting our hair cuts at Smart Style in the Athens Walmart ever again I wish I could post pictures of how terrible she did.

Usually this place is good. Today I went in at 2:30 to get my kids haircut. Was told there was a 30 min wait. We only like one certain stylist. It passed 3 onto 4 then 4:15 I talked to the lady at front said we was next our stylist was about to put a customer under the dryer. Another 10 mins and nothing so we left. We will never be returning.

I’ve been a repeat customer even though my hair was never cut the way I asked even with pictures (got bangs when i didnt want them kind of wrong) It looked okay so I didnt complain. I’m easy to please and it grows back so no big deal. Husband usually gets an express cut but gets charged for a cut & style, which isn’t right but our fault for not saying something. This time I told them he wanted an express cut and the lady said okay but btw they are doing away with express cuts as of (date next week). No prob. After the cuts were done, the other stylist refused to charge for the express cut, saying they don’t do them anymore. I pointed out that it was still on the board, but she said something about being fined by Regis blah blah blah. Great. Not gonna argue over it. Here’s your extra $5 today but next time we’ll pay even more just to take our business elsewhere. You just lost 3 customers over $5.
