I had called and booked two children’s appointments for back to back appointments as they were little boys. My husband went with our children, checked in beforehand the scheduled time waited over 40 minutes past the first appointment. Booking should be further apart for clients to ensure this doesn’t happen if a service runs over. They didn’t get a service that day. If a day is booked full staff should be there accordingly, or you can say to whoever wants to book that it is full. I don’t have a rating for service as no service was performed.

Worst haircut ever. Went in for a trim and got chopped. My bangs are too short to fix, not even close to what i asked for also she tried telling me that all my hair is dead because my roots were dark and rest of my hair was blonde. My daughter has strands that were 3 inches longer then the hair.. i had to repair when i got home.. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Positive: Valueordinarily a lot of people give SmartStyle a hard time and don’t put a lot of faith into the stylist and I think it’s because it’s inside Walmart. However the past two times I have gone to Smart Styles they only have one employee which is their manager working and she is fantastic! She works to get customers in a timely manner and is taking walk-ins in between appointment. I highly recommend her! She cut son’s hair and did a fantastic job giving him the haircut he requested it looked exactly like the picture. Had an appointment scedualed for 11 am. I showed up at 10:55. When I walked in the stylist’s never acknowledged I was there. 50 minutes later they took a walk in of someone that had just came in 30 minutes after I had been setting there still with no acknowledgement to me. That was the last of it for me. I scheduled a work in appointment with another salon and left. There is no excuse for ignoring your customers, especially when they had an appointment. Don’t waste your time here.

I have a 12 year-old daughter with natural curly and very thick hair. We have had her hair thinned at SmartStyle Salons before. We decided it was time to have her hair thinned and my husband told them what we needed done when we made her an appointment for 1/10/2020 with Shekinah (who told him that she has 17 years of experience). After he made the appointment she informed him that they do not thin hair on people with naturally curly hair. We have cancelled the appointment because her hair needs thinned and the dead ends trimmed…she needs both not just one. We will look for another salon that WILL HELP MY DAUGHTER. Her hair is so thick that she cannot get a brush through it unless it has been thinned.
