I had a 10 o’clock appointment this morning (September 11). I showed up a few minutes LATE and no one was there. Unless you count the other lady waiting because she had an appointment for the same time. At almost 10:30, I walked out. I spoke to a couple Walmart employees while I was waiting. I was told they pretty much show up when they want and there’s usually only one employee a day. Great way to stay in business. I took my money elsewhere.

Smart style used to be great. It used to be a really good vibed place, yet after 10 years of going to this place my grandmother and I have decided to boycott this location. The newer hairstylist there refused to cut my grandmother’s hair because she was being “rude” for telling her she was picky, and also commented she didn’t feel she could satisfy what she wanted, when she was the only stylist, and it /is/ their job to take clients..when in reality I was on the other side of the wall where this young “lady” can’t see me and doesn’t know I can hear how hateful she’s being to my grandmother. After all, a majority of the staff left and went to a new salon and didn’t bother to take her with them, there’s gotta be a problem right? Regardless, my grandmother wants to get a haircut and after many years of satisfaction, she REFUSES to step foot in this shop ever again. Amber who normally works in the Owasso and usually will come to Sand Springs to do my hair–is a total professional and really cares about me and my hair.She has always thoroughly explained the condition of my hair plus what I would need to do if there is a problem. She knows how to cut hair and cut it right!! Also previously gave me a perm that lasted forever. IT WAS PERFECT!! She also colors my hair and when im ready to go..she offers hair products that will work great on my hair. That is what I call awesome service by her. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityMy husband Terry P. and I stopped by this salon yesterday for him to get a haircut but Annie said they were busy and gave him an appointment for Sunday 5/9 @ 2:00 at her recommended time. We arrived about 1:55 and Annie told my husband there was no way she could do it today…. no explanation, etc. When we left Walmart at 2:20 Annie was sitting in the salon looking/playing on her phone and not a customer in site. My husband has been going there for several years but not likely to return.. at least for as long as Annie is there. Very poor customer service.Well, here we go again. Today, 5/23/21, my husband again tried to get a haircut at your Sapulpa location salon. We arrived just prior to 4:35 and were greeted by a young stylist with no customers in the salon. She was going to assist my husband just as a lady arrived who had a 4:45 appointment for a haircut. The stylist told my husband it would be about 20 minutes and she took his number and said she would call him. Well, at 5:27 we had completed our shopping and your stylist was again sitting in an empty salon and my husband never got a call to say she was ready and could help him. We are now home, groceries put away and at 6:12 not a peep from your stylist. In a two week period, my husband was still unable to get a haircut. Let me ask, how many times would you keep going when your get treated unprofessionally and the hired stylist prefer to sit in an empty salon playing on their phone. You might ask why we didn’t go in….
