My husband went into Smart style to get our daughters hair cut, and he sat down in one of the stylist chairs because there was no where else to sit. Shawn Eakin (stylist) was VERY rude to him and told him “this isn’t a waiting room, if there is no room over there then you can go sit outside and wait” with a rude tone toward him and my daughter. He wasn’t hateful toward her or anything before she spoke so hateful toward him. The other custeroms even heard her and made a face toward my husband because she heard Shawn tell him this. We will not be back.

I went in for a haircut this past weekend. The lady working could see how long my hair was but never told me i would be charged an extra $10 to cut it due to the length. I did not ask for a wash. They did ask me if I wanted a conditioning treatment..she said it was on sale for $5. I agreed but she never told me it was double that due to my hair length. I feel that i was manipulated and taken advantage of. I will absolutely NEVER go back. I have been in contact with corporate and have put in a complaint.

Absolutely will never go here again…when we walked in, the lady at the register was rude from the beginning. Then she started picking through my daughter’s hair strand by strand and finally I asked what she was doing and she rudely said “checking her hair” and I asked for what and she said “for lice”. And I said that’s it forget it. I told her she was being very rude and she said no she wasn’t. She said it was her job to check for lice. I told her she should inform people or there should be a sign up saying that because it’s very offensive to just start looking for lice strand by strand. She said it was state mandated and she was very out of line by raising her voice and I understand that some people might have lice, but we dont and for her to make a spectical of my 12 year old daughter was ridiculous. I took my daughter and left. She acted very unprofessional and I will never go back not will I recommend anyone to go.
