Got what’s easily the best hair cut I’ve ever had. My wife agrees. Kelley did a fantastic job and was quick and friendly. She even managed to cut a cow lick that no stylist has even paid attention to despite me requesting it be cut a certain way. I came to get a haircut and color and didn’t even stay. One girl looked like she had colored her hair blue with box dye and hasn’t colored her roots in six month. She didn’t look like she had brushed her hair that morning either. The other girl had green dye past her wrist staining her hands, it looked like she had dyed her own hair green and didn’t use gloves. I wanted a cut and color but just looking at the way these girls did their own hair, I wouldn’t have let them touch mine.

I’ve been getting my haircut for years here. Always noticed that if you go in for a cheap mens cut around 12-13 bucks they will never give it to you. I’ve always been charged for the cut and wash yet never get my hair washed. Then they tell you oh we asked if you wanted some gel in your hair that’s what that’s for. Uhm no? If there’s an upcharge you tell the customer up front.

This place is solid for cheap dependable haircuts. There has always been a friendly face and they seem to enjoy what they do. The only reason it’s 4 stars is there is inconsistency in the hair cutters strength so I have a had a few cuts a little too close.

I’ve had some bad experiences with smart styles in the past. I recently tried the salon again for just a haircut. The stylist that took care of me this visit was just absolutely amazing. I was definitely impressed considering I had the bad experiences with the same salon a few different visits before. I definitely found a great stylist!! Because of this certain stylist, I will continue my business with smart styles.
