I went for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago.Was able to get same day appointment. Haley was great! I had no idea what I wanted but wanted a new look. She took over and did great!! Critical: Professionalism, ValueWhile I was there, my stylist, Tiffany, told me I had splits all over and was in need of different shampoo. She refers me to the brand she has on sale buy one get one and sells me the smoothing oil, the mousse, (though I said u don’t use mousse, gels or hairspray – she said with my fine hair I had to) and the shampoo and conditioner. She said what I had been using was causing the breakage. So I get home and do what I do after every cut, I wash my hair and style it myself and decided to try everything. It was a nightmare! I liked the feel of the lather of the shampoo, but the conditioner left my hair so dry and brittle feeling. Then I couldn’t get a brush through. As I said, I tried everything. So I figured I hadn’t used the mousse in the right amount. I rewashed my hair and tried again without the mousse – still couldn’t get my brush through my hair, dispute two washes and a fresh cut of six inches. My son tried the shampoo and conditioner on his long hair and comes out in tears asking for help to brush his hair. So I go back to the salon and instead of “Of course we’ll give you your money back!” I get, “Oh, that was on clearance. We can’t return your money on clearance items. It even says on the receipt.” So, while I am sitting in a chair half blind with my glasses fogging up from a mask and being told all about how damaged my hair is, I am supposed to know that the receipt I only get after purchase is going to tell me about an item that is on clearance? Not once was that mentioned. I prefer not to buy clearance items on a first time basis. #1 You don’t know why they are clearance. #2 I hate to get attached to products I won’t be able to get again. To say some of these reviews didn’t scare me would be a lie. I had such a great experience. I called, addressed my concerns about the reviews with Tiffany (not knowing she was the manager) explained exactly what I wanted and didn’t want. Tiffany worked me in last minute and I got exactly what I wanted! The three ladies that were working were working hard! They were slammed at times and didn’t get too overwhelmed.
