Critical: ProfessionalismMy 10 year old wanted a trim, blonde tips, and hair straightened. Lucinda Pinton was extremely rude and unprofessional and made my daughter feel like she wasn’t welcome there. She told my daughter she didn’t want to do extra work to straighten her curly hair at the end?! She proceeded to bleach the tips then asked my 10 year old what toner she wanted as if she knew anything at all! The toner ended up making the ends the same exact color as it was before. She could have just used color and developer for that. But she wanted blonde tips. Didn’t get that. Then a “trim” ended up being a cut to the shoulders! The manager Sonya Dubois proceeded to charge us and cuss us out. I really hope we are able to file a formal complaint with corporate and get a full refund! If I could give negative ratings I would! 150% would never recommend!**responding to “owner” comment**When you tell a 10 year old you don’t want to straighten her curly hair because you don’t want to do extra work… that is not what the customer wanted. When we tell you BLONDE tips and she has literally the same color hair and you want to charge $120… that is not what the customer wanted. When you argue about “it’s what we wanted” and it DEFINITELY IS NOT and don’t offer to make her tips actually BLONDE… that is not what the customer wanted. I can’t make her hair grow back but I can at least get a refund on what was done incorrectly. And the fact that you lied about who the manager was at first and the argued about the cost is hilarious. Unprofessional in person and online trying to defend the truth. Doesn’t matter… corporate is on it and I am getting a full refund. Pictures don’t lie. It isn’t colored, styled, or “trimmed”. I keep very short hair. Simple hair cut, took her 15 minutes to cut. I know prices have gone up but no wash, no style, I do that myself had the nerve to charge me 35. Dollars! For a 20. Haircut! Well there went her tip and my business. Sign says express haircut 20. That was 2 months ago and I’m still mad about my 35.00 now I GO to FANTASTIC SAMS get a great hair cut , great service and I paid 35.00 with the tip!!! Do NOT pick this place. They lady stylist me feel completely uncomfortable and like i didn’t belong. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. She had cigarettes and things of the sort just spread across the table all messy and right in the open. As for the haircut, absolutely NOT what i asked for. and for the price of $35?!?!? I’ve paid $20 for 10 times better service and hair cut. Don’t waste your time and money with this place.

Honestly I was very happy to get in at the last min as I was traveling. I called ahead of time and was going ro get there about 15 mins before closing. Now I know technically thwy would still had to have taken me anyways but still, as a courtesy because it was close to time I called in advance …. All I needed was a wash. No cut, no style, nothing… just a wash and go… rhe lady was nice, yes. However….I was definitely in a hurry to get back on the road and unfortunately not only was she slower, but I felt very unprofessional talking to me about her girlfriend and how irritated she was at her for her baby-ing her older son that has had a stroke and that she needed to stop doing everything for him etc. She went on and on.. and then I still tipped her 10.00 cash just for a was and ebeded up being charged 30.00!!!!!!! 30.00 for a wash?!?!?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!?! At a Walmart salon? I can get a wash, cut and style for that price with my regular stylist and all I got was a wash! She knew that’s all I wanted and that I was in a hurry and had been driving 4 hours already and still had about 2 hours to go until I got to my hotel. I definitely feel like she over charged me. Idk what she charged me for but there is no way a wash could be 30.00 freaking dollars! And I had already tipped her 10.00 in cash so she didn’t have to report it. So frustrating. Lesson learned. Won’t be back and I will definitely demand an itemized receipt!
