I went into the new Iberia location to get my daughter hair flat iron..she has never had a flat iron or been to smartstyle and I must admit I was satisfied with the results..Holly was great..she had my daughter feeling and looking amazing for her 10 birthday! The worst haircut ever! They was more worried about a guys sales pitch to get them a new job. Get rich quick scheme .she absolutely did not listen to me when I told her what to do. The wait was no time after I found iveyetta in the back after calling out 3 times with no one around. I asked for a highlight touch up. She then said another girl holly would be in at 2 I said i didn’t want to wait for her. I asked if she would be more comfortable doing an all over color. She agreed. She got the color horribly wrong. Her son was hanging out at the saloon and two other guys came in while she was doing my hair just to talk. Then. After rinsing my hair she put me under the dryer to take another hair cut instead of finishing me. As she blew out my hair the next girl came in seen it was wrong and I was upset. And they both gave me an attitude before trying to fix it. Then holly bleached bathed my hair and my scalp was buring so did more conditioning but kept me under dryer for 5 min. Then because my scalp was so hot I could not let her fix my color just blow dry it out. Even that she didn’t blow dry it all the way. I will never go to another Walmart again. Its for little kids or old ladies. If you want your hair done right wait for a real salon to open. Now I will have to pay the 121.57 for my horrible hair and another 200$ just to fix it. Maybe if the employees didn’t talk about their personal lives or have their friends and family walking around they would pay more attention to each customer. It was disgusting how I was treated and how my hair came out. And worst of all my scalp hurts so bad it will take weeks till I can fix it

Today, Ivey, cut my hair at Smart Styles. It’s funny, you read through the reviews, and the people posting them sound irrational. Their so called “extra charges” are clearly posted on the price board. If I were searching for a spot in New Iberia to have my hair done, I’d come to Smart styles and ask for Ivey. She’s great.

Charged $10 extra for length add on. I only got about 4 inches cut and layered I don’t know if the extra charge was for the layers but I have never had to pay extra for layers in my hair!! Ended up being almost $30 for a haircut

They said the couldn’t cut my husband hair cuz it was 7:15! It is very aggravating cause I had gone in early to check to see if they would be able to cut my husband hair and they told me yes!
