Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI almost didn’t try this salon because I don’t live in the area, but I do visit often; nevertheless, I am so glad I did! The salon itself was clean, well-organized and had an upbeat vibe; but the real gem was my stylist, Ava. She was friendly, professional and made the whole experience phenomenal. I typically struggle between what I want and what I need, but she listened to my ideas for the haircut and offered ideas about what she believed would look best for me. Before starting, she walked me through how she would do the haircut, then explained each step as she did them, which was so helpful. Overall, I ended up getting a fantastic haircut that I actually like and I am very satisfied with. I almost didn’t try this salon because I don’t live in the area, but I do visit often; nevertheless, I am so glad I did! The salon itself was clean, well-organized and had an upbeat vibe; but the real gem was my stylist, Ava. She was friendly, professional and made the whole experience phenomenal. She has been giving me advise and taking care of my hair that is giving me the confidence that one day once my hair grows back, I will love my new look. I have been losing my hair over the last year due to health issues and I am so happy that I met Ava, the Manager, at SmartStyle. She has been giving me advise and taking care of my hair that is giving me the confidence that one day once my hair grows back, I will love my new look. I went this past Saturday. Lisa was cutting a ladies hair and I had to comment that I loved what she was doing. The manager, Ava, was the person to cut my hair. She was very nice and wanted to make sure she cut my hair how I wanted. Wow, can I just say it is the best haircut that I have ever gotten at this salon!! I absolutely LOVE it!!! She was friendly and professional. I don’t understand the bad reviews because I was more than satisfied. Its hard for me to tell a hair stylist what I want because it seems to be difficult, which I don’t understand. Ava understood completely. She was worried about how short I wanted the back, but I assured her what she did was exactly what I wanted. I wish I could have her as my stylist forever, but I do realize that managers get moved around as does the staff. That’s the only thing that bothers me, because if I find a good stylist, the next time I go, there are new ones. It doesn’t stop me, I just would like a stylist I could depend on being there. I have been going to this salon for the past few years. I have had various experiences from really bad to pretty good. I went this past Saturday. Lisa was cutting a ladies hair and I had to comment that I loved what she was doing. The manager, Ava, was the person to cut my hair. She was very nice and wanted to make sure she cut my hair how I wanted. Wow, can I just say it is the best haircut that I have ever gotten at this salon!! I absolutely LOVE it!!! If something isn’t done about her she will ruin that salon. I will make sure to tell ALL my friends and family to NEVER visit that salon as long as that manager is there. I called for her supervisors name and phone number and she REFUSED to give it to me….She sure does not know how to treat her employees, VERY POOR MANAGEMENT AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL especially in front of other customers.
