Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI was charged for shampoo when my hair wasn’t washed or even dried after being cut. I told the girl to leave it long. I even showed pictures of long hair and I’m not lying my hair isn’t even 2 inches off my head now. The back is cut to my scalp. And crooked. And looks like a kindergartner went at me with some kitchen scissors while I was asleep. My daughter also got her hair cut. Then I went back to see if they could make it straight because it was so crooked & it was worse the 2nd time. At least they understand don’t cut more than an inch means cut 6 inches off my daughter’s hair. I was charged for shampoo when my hair wasn’t washed or even dried after being cut. I told the girl to leave it long. Most terrible experience of my life. I have thick curly hair. I ask the stylist to cut no more then an inch off my beautiful mind back hair. I explained I sometimes work in construction and must put my hair in a pony tail under a hat to keep debris out of my hair and that I were a high and low pony tell. I informed her that even though most people at my age, 45, like shorter hair I prefer my long hair. I ask for layers no higher middle of my ears she did it at the top of my ears and now my once beautiful mid back hair is should lighten. My husband went in a couple weeks earlier and got his hair done also and they gave him a buzz cut because he is older. Please do not go her if you value your hair. Also bought product. Product doesn’t work for my hair. When I went back to exchange products non of th stylist could help me find a good product for curly hair. I’m allergic to shea butter and aloe. Non of the stylist even knew what was in the product and sigest I buy product from Walmart because they didn’t know what this in Solon product do or what there even used for. Then the stylist was shocked the the product I was trying to return,exchange I didn’t leave it for her to resale. Did any of the stylist go to school or did they just walk in off the street and say hay I think I’ll butcher someone’s hair today

Went to get a haircut for two boys and myself. I’ve only been there once before this time and they had done a good job thus why I went back, but never again. They Bucher our haircuts, they didnt know what a mid fade is. The front of one kids hair was uneven. As I took my turn I explained how my hair style was and how I needed it to be cut. She only said “OK” but proceeded to cut my hair in a different style. I showed her a picture and she still couldn’t get it right. Left some patches uncut. Everytime I pointed out the mistakes she tried to fix them but she would make another one so i just gave up… Very bad service! Will not come back.

This is a great place to get your hair cut! They cut it the way you want and are friendly while doing it. Most of the other places I’ve used I feel like I’m cattle being shuffled through an assembly line. Hurry up so you can pay me and I can be done with you and move on to the next person and keep on going, but not at SmartStyle they take time to listen to what you want and make sure you leave a happy customer. That’s why I keep going back and recommend you give them a try as well!!

Do not waste your money. Everytime you actually get someone who knows what they are doing in this place they end up leaving and quitting for better jobs. I went get my eyebrows waxed and I had to go home fix them because they we’re so uneven and still had hair where she waxed. I got a haircut one time and she cut off 6 inches of my hair after I told her only trim one to two inches off. One day the manager was folding towels and one of the towels fell on the floor and instead of putting it with the dirty towels she fold the towel and put it with the clean towel. To some it may be be a big deal but think about how much hair is on that floor that the towel touched. I have given them more than enough tries and I feel like this place is a joke.
