Dreadful experience. Set an appointment for a shampoo, cut, and style. When I got there, I was asked if I still needed a shampoo. I told them no but I still wanted a style. The stylist acted like I was a bother, and I should have walked out but I stayed.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI’m not really “high maintenance” in any way, really. I typically just get a haircut and an eyebrow wax. A few months ago I came in here for a trim and wax. Showed up early only to 1- Not get seen til 45 minutes AFTER my appointment. 2- Had to still go home and pluck my eyebrows because she botched it. 3- Had to listen to her manager berate her for not charging a previous customer adequately. And 4- I swear to GOD, she combed my hair back and literally made TWO snips at the tip of my hair and called it done. I didn’t complain, whine- nothing. Just paid and walked because I didn’t ever think I’d ever fathom coming back. And frankly, with the unprofessional attitude I witnessed, didn’t trust the employees.Fast Forward to this week. Stopped by when I was shopping and saw new employees. Figured- I’ve never been wronged except that one time. Why not give them another chance? Right? Wrong. Wanted to make an appointment and the lady, visibly busy said “it’ll be a lot easier if you book an appointment on the app!” I’ve been busy before and understand so that’s exactly what I did. I set the appointment for 6:15pm on Wednesday afternoon. The app, Google and posted store hours said they closed at 7. I’m literally ONLY getting a cut. No shampoo or waxing. Show up for my appointment, early as usual, and the place is closed. I looked again online, “Closes at 7pm”. Called the other Smart Styles in the area- all closed. Check my email and sure enough, got an email saying “Appointment Confirmation”. Why did I not get a call, email, text, anything? Why are the hours wrong everywhere? And what’s with your employees lately???What the heck is going on with this company? I don’t even know. But that’s ok- scheduled an appointment with Bayalage and Cut with a nearby salon. Went in to get my eyebrows waxed. The lady was not to enthusiastic about having a customer, but she set me up. I got my eyebrows waxed and a few minutes in my left eye was really hurting. She said I put some aloe to calm the skin, ok great paid and went on my way. This is 2 days later!!!!! She burned my skin!!!!! Would NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Got my daughter’s and my haircut here. The wonderful lady with the blue streaks through her hair did an amazing job on both of us. My daughter is very shy and normally doesn’t talk to anyone and this lady had her chatting. We got slightly different versions of the Bob haircut and we both love our hair. We will definitely be going back when we need future cuts. I wish I could remember the lady’s name to give her the credit she deserves.
