Overall, the service was great. I came in and asked for a whole head of highlights as I am trying to go blonde. The girl questioned how long she should leave the foils on my hair and then failed to put a cap on my hair to lock in the heat. The bottom of my hair looks amazing and looks just how I wanted it. The top layer of my hair was sectioned into thicker strips causing thick stripes on the to of my head. I walked out feeling great loving my hair and didn’t really notice the thick highlights on the top of my head until after I left. I have tried multiple layers and washes of purple shampoo and conditioner as well as a mask and have had no luck fixing my hair. Now all I can do is wear my hair half up to cover the top of my head.

I made an appointment for my daughter to get her hair straightened. No washing or any products used on her. Just straightened. I was told that is a style and would be $29.97. Apparently the price entails the length of hair and the time it takes. Hers ended up being $49.97 absolutely no way should it have cost that much. I would have given a zero if I could have. Please don’t answer by saying to talk to management. I’ve done that as well as the district manager. Was offered $5.00 back. It would take more then $5.00 to drive back to Effingham for the offer. We will NEVER be making an appointment here again.

I came in with clean hair and only got it straightened. The stylist didn’t know how to do my bangs so clipped them back with Bobbie Pins. I was very upset with the price of $49.97. Yes, I talked with the district manager and was offered $5.00 back. Live and learn. I’ll never be back!!!

There was only one person manning the shop, so I had a little bit of a wait. My hair was long and I wanted to get rid of it all. That seemed to intimidate the hair dresser on duty (I didn’t catch her name), but I talked her through what I wanted and she did a great job. She even sold me on some amazing shampoo by using it on me first and letting me realize how much I liked it before telling me about it. Now I’m rid of all that pesky hair and have a great new shampoo. I left very happy.

Everytime I come here always greeted with smiles and they listen when you tell them what type of hair cut you want they will also suggest if you are having problems deciding. They are quick but efficient. If you want a good hair cut go here. They also do a really good job coloring your hair.

However, Courtney and her team have always made me feel like I’m in safe hands. I also love the bright and fun color dye jobs they do! Highly recommend! Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI gave only a one star because I tried to take my son in to get his hair cut and the lady told me I had to have a mask on. I informed her I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing one. This is not what irritated me, what really did it for me was that she tried to one up me by saying she also has medical issues that prevent her from wearing one but she still has too. But she never had the mask over her nose or over her mouth for that matter. She also told me that it wasnt worth giving my son a haircut to lose her lisence. My husband always get his haircut here and he loves them. I got my hair colored and cut here before and wasn’t happy with my experience. I asked for balayage which I know takes a while and I was going from brown to blonde so it wasn’t an easy job. My stylist was talking rudely with the other stylist and to me about other customers as they walked in asking for services. I don’t think she timed the bleach right or didn’t tone one side enough because the left half of my hair is lighter and closer to the blonde I wanted while the other side is much more brassy. I asked for disconnected and noticable layers for my haircut and basically got a trim with one layer. I won’t use them for myself but my husband loves them..he also gets a basic mans haircut…
