I can tell she cares for people’s hair (for their growth, health and quality) and not just for the job to get done quickly (cause customers can get their hair colored at the time frame they have in mind, but at the expense of their hair’s growth and health). Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ve had exceptional service in the past here, but today led to a terrible experience. I stopped in about a month and a half ago and all covid 19 safety measures were still in place. Today was a completely different story. I showed up with a mask on just like I had done a month and a half ago, and I was promptly asked to take it off as I sat in the chair, even though they were able to perform the cut and shampoo process perfectly a month and a half ago during my last visit.After bringing up my last visit with the stylist, she “laughed” and said they wouldn’t be able to cut my hair if I don’t take it off.I should also add that none of the staff members were wearing a mask, and several were coughing and sneezing.I was also not offered a shampoo after my cut, even though I paid for the entire shampoo/cut package deal. Buyer beware!! Went to the SmartStyle in Silvis. They have a buy one get one 50% off sale. Purchased 2 of the same Kenra products which were each $16. Purchased 2 of the same Kenra products which were each $27. The clerk DID NOT tell me that I would be paying full price for each of the $27 products and would get 50% off each of the $16 products. Thought I would pay 50% for one of each product. Nope. I tried to take them all back and was told they were not taking any returns due to COVID but I could exchange them! What?!? If I had COVID I would’ve handled the product that I exchanged, but no returns!! What a rip off! Learned a very expensive lesson.
