I have never had a bad haircut before at Smart Style up until today. The young lady (Mindy)that did my hair, I’ve never seen her before. She not once attempted to make small talk at all the whole entire time, other than asking me to turn my head, etc. She seemed very new & inexperienced. It seemed like her hand was trembling a little the whole time. I had to keep telling her to cut my hair shorter above my ears on the sides, & go shorter in the back

This place has gone down hill. Walked in last night to get daughters hair cut/ trimmed. Behind the wall two stylists were holding social hour with a non employee / non customer. I asked if they had time for a haircut, and neither answered me, just looked at each other like they didn’t want to get up and work. Finally one said they’d do it, and the other employee checked us in. Stylist starts to work on my daughter’s hair, while the other employee resumed her seat beside my daughter and continued her conversation with the male sitting in the area that was not a customer or employee. Periodically the sitting employee would make odd comments to my daughter, neither of us found her funny. Walked out of the salon with wet hair, and surprise (not really) when the hair dried it was uneven in the back, missed long hairs, and just sloppy work. I suppose I could go back and have them correct it, however it was such a distasteful experience that I really have no desire to go back into that shop. I have two boys that I need haircuts for this weekend, however it will not be at the Watertown Smart Style. Photo attached is after a wash from the salon and taking 3in off.
