Just love being lied to. Today my mom came up to visit me and wanted a hair cut here and they told her there’s no more openings for today but then when we got done shopping at 4:30pm and they were CLOSED!! THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OPENED TIL 6PM! They deadass lied to my mother could’ve told us the truth that they were closing early. Very unprofessional to lie.

Where do I start? Do I start with the fact they did a hack job on my 7 year old’s bang trim? Or should I start with the fact we were massively over charged for a child’s hair cut because my daughter’s hair was slightly past her shoulders? How about the fact they charged for a shampoo they never performed. My wife and daughter have been to a few actual hair salons and have never been charged $80.00 (total) for basic trims. I have absolutely no use for dishonest people. The manager flat out lied about the price of a the kid’s hair cut. Her math didn’t add up. We were told $18.95 for a kid’s haircut + $11.00 for long hair. Those totals equal 29.95 before tax. Yet we were charged $24.95 (haircut and shampoo) for a kid’s haircut plus 11.00 totaling $36.90 pre-tax for a hack job bang trim.

I had an appointment. She wasn’t very pleasant. Didn’t really talk to me at all during my hair cut and the little that she did say came out with an attitude. Before I knew it she was done and getting the next person into the chair without even showing me my hair in a mirror or anything, she took my cloth off from around my neck, shook the hair out and walked away to the front counter for me to pay. I won’t be back.

Just bad all the way around. From wash to payment it was about 12 minutes. And $24 later I walked out with a 1979 layered haircut! No way was I going to have her correct it or even attempt to correct it. I’ve been to SmartStyle before without problem but the one in Elkhart is lacking. Pretty sure she needed some more training some more classes maybe even a more up-to-date modern class on styles and cuts…. Not everyone wants a haircut like she had…

The right side of her head was given layers, while the left side was done in one length, which happened to be about 3 inches longer than the right side.
