I received a haircut from one of the stylists here named Amy. I have curly hair that is hard to cut and layer properly and needed a pro to help with a previous bad haircut. Amy took care of it and in a jiffy! She shampooed my hair, and trimmed it perfectly in 30 min, and was personable, kind and friendly. I was very pleased with my cut, and how she fixed my problems. I highly recommend this salon and Amy in particular.

Terrible job. The cut might be decent but I’ll have to wait until I get home to figure out what it looks like because she I had to tell her to wash it I had to dry it I told her I wanted to be ready to go to dinner and she sent me out of that shop was straight hair terrible and when I told her I was unhappy she didn’t offer to fix it she clearly did not understand how to style hair she might give it a good cut but she has no idea how to style it actually wasn’t quite interested in styling it very unhappy with the services provided

I called 3 Saturdays ago and asked if my husband could get a hair cut as a walk in with in the hour they told me they was slammed with appointments and lots of walk in already so we went to fantastic sam’s but then went to Walmart and walked by the salon now mind you this was only 30 later if that bc fantastic sam’s took him right in and was done within mins and did as amazing job but anyways went by the Walmart salon and 3 of the employees were sitting up front doing nothing and 2 was working on people’s hair I walked in to say I called led then 30 mins ago explained that I was in a big hurry only had 1 or 1 1/2 at most and we needed my husband hair cut for a family emergency and you guys told me that it was not possible no opening for hours if today at all but before telling me that they thought it was gonna be a womans hair and was interested soon as I said my husband that was were I lost there attention and got told no not at all today more then likely so that was funny to me to see 3 of there employees just sitting doing nothing less then 30 later and on top of that I would have given a great tip bc it was last min family emergency and they helped but nope they turned us away bc they thought that there was no money in the cut well 10 mins of your time Inverness Walmart hair salon (smart style hair salon) would have gotten you a $50.00 tip liked it did the woman at fantastic sam’s but you guys were greedy and nasty and lied and when I walked in and said something and asked why I was lied to you guys told me that I was told to come on in they was not busy are all that’s was a complete lie

I usually go to my usual stylist almost religiously every 6 months but with everything slowing opening back up she was booked until June. I had a bad experience at different salon so I was nervous to go somewhere new. While visiting family I got the nerve to try something new so I decided to try this salon and made a same day appointment online for a Shampoo, cut and style. I went in and had Lily cut my hair. She was AMAZING! She listened to what I wanted and took the perfect amount off, and styled my hair exactly how I liked and the next day after sleeping on it it’s still perfect which I adore because it saves me so much time in the morning getting ready. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone in the area if you need some where to go.
