I am not even going to step in there again. Looked through reviews of almost all the salons and barber shops in the area and it had, by far, the lowest rating. For a person who has gotten their simple haircut for FREE from people who are not even barbers the current price of $24.97 for a basic haircut is nonsense. Absolutely no sense at all! I used to pay $13 at “Super Cutters” in Walmart about 9 years ago. That was acceptable. They seem to have new people cutting each time at the salon when I have put up with that $24.97 price in the past. Seems like the cost of haircuts and styling has gone up more than any other item during this time of inflation. Sorry gas, in my mind, you got beat. I tell one of the workers about how simple my haircut is and she just smiles with a stuck up attitude and says something like, “well, $24.97 is what we charge”. You sure aren’t earning that when you chop off my hair in no time. She should have apologized and said she was sorry that the cost is what they HAD to charge. Asked if she knew of any places where it would cost less. Of course she said she had no idea. MAYBE she was telling the truth. But she couldn’t care less about me. Hope Walmart can bring in some business that charges less since you save on so many other things there. A place called “Marty’s Barber Shop” in Sebring, FL charges you $15. I will definitely leave a positive for that place. One of the men there was a very friendly Vietnam War veteran who was so friendly, and easy to talk to.

This is the Avon Park salon. I had to change as my stylist got promoted ! Mollie is excellent. She listens to what you want and will do that. She will recommend something if you ask. Great personality.

Some of the stylists are very good at what they do but they need to work on their attitudes. The atmosphere and management is very daunting and intimidating. I have seen them create wonderful work but be very rude to their employees and customers. Be careful going to this salon.
