Twice I have been in this place, once for my daughter and once for myself, both times we ended up with very uneven hair cuts and went somewhere else to get it fixed. We ended up having to get over an inch of hair cut off to even it out. The staff are very friendly but I will not be going back!

I’ve gone to Smartstyle Hair Salon located inside the Calhoun Walmart located on Highway 53 since 2015 main reason is convenience while I’m there shopping at Walmart so I can go in there typically within 20 minutes I’m out of there it’s done with the tip I usually spent $20 for men’s haircut and if you ask they will shampoo your hair which I think is a plus specially after you get a cut to get all the loose hair out not the highest quality hair stylist but they do a fairly decent job at a decent price and the convenience factor is is truly the key

I got a gift certificate for my girlfriend to get a hair cut .She called me crying because she got her hair butched up n she also has a sore neck n a splitting headache from the woman that butched up her hair. The woman who cut her hair cut it way to short n gapped it up n wouldn’t listen to my girlfriend of what she wanted. The woman was really rough n used a dull scissors n didn’t speak much English. She didn’t even shampoo her hair. I called the manager n she told me she would fix her hair but the hair is to butched up.I will never go back there as long as I live. All I wanted to do was a nice gesture for my woman instead she is scared for life until her hair grows back because her hair is her lively hood. And if u love your woman like I do I would stay away from this place.
