My 3rd time here. I know, I should have known better but it’s a hit or miss risk this salon in dealing with black, natural hair. A couple of girls did my hair correctly. But the 2 last girls… I liked my style but my poor natural curls are gone. Flat iron heat on too high and my curls are fried. Did I mention my hair smells burnt after 3 weeks and a wash/condition. I wouldn’t recommend overall. Too many bad patterns for me. I’ll take healthy hair over style anyday. But I it was a should have known better incident for me. You live, you learn.

Got my hair cut and dyed, the stylist wouldnt let me get the package on the SmartStyle website because it “didnt exist” and charged me 10 more for what I wanted. I didnt know exactly what haircut I wanted so she gave me a longer version of a layered pixi cut which turned out amazingly well and she dyed it dark brown. The color looks really great and lasts a long time. With the shampoo and conditioning afterwards, your hair is still soft and feels healthy. Other than the price I was super happy with it.

Do not ever go here! They hire people fresh out of beauty school and have no real.experince and are not supervised. The dude completely hacked my hair after he promised he knew what he was doing. Simple haircut gone extremely bad. Worst ever in my life. I also went there a couple years ago for a color treatment and they got it all wrong. Never again!

I thought this was the new spot for me to get my 12 year old child’s haircut regularly but I guess I was just lucky on my first visit. Since then when I go I have to wait at least an hour and a half. Smartsyles do NOT take appointments, only walk ins. On my final visit I showed up 10 minutes before they even opened(9am) and there were 2 people waiting and one employee working. She told me there’s at least a (3) hour wait and I left and that was the final straw.
