Took my son there for a haircut. His hair was long, just past shoulder length. He wanted it cut off and showed a picture of how his hair used to be. A totally do-able request since it was a picture of himself. Short around the back and longer (like 4-5 inches) on top. What we walked out with was a hack job. Longest pieces anywhere were about 3 inches, maybe. Not to mention the random long strands I had to cut myself at home. This girl, Rachel (I think), did not want to be there and it showed on my child’s head. I’m sure she didn’t feel at all bad about it and I downplayed it so as not to humiliate my child but doing such careless work (when it comes to teenagers especially) is shameful.. Better training and better work ethic needed for sure.

My son went up there to get his hair cut and the Chinese woman that cuts hair good does not work there anymore. There was a blonde hair woman that cut it and he showed her a picture and even told her how long to cut it. I even told her that I wanted to keep his long hair that was cut off anybody with common sense would have put a hair tie on the hair that I was keeping before cutting it. She started cutting it without the hair tie and started to hand me the hair that she had just cut. How stupid was that. What was I supposed to do with lose hair. WILL NOT GO BACK THERE ANYMORE . Bad service and she didn’t even listen to us.

I have never left a bad review on a business but this place is a joke. Twice I have booked an appointment on line with Kathy to be stood up. Then they have two brand new associates who could not even do a basic bob cut. I finally just got my bangs done to get by and they are gapped. I had to try to fix them when I got home. Never will use them again. Sad when the manager sets the example of poor customer service.

Lawd bless can’t find the card the Mgr gave me, but ya’ll I we were the only ones there after the other clients left. When I tell you we had a great afternoon is beyond compare. He did my hair cant find the card or I would tell you his name 1st time going there me and my God daughter were hanging out in Gastonia for the day and we had such fun with him, my hair turned out amazing he cut it perfectly he has my business for sure and such intelligence loved the conversation peaceful and relaxing!!

I’ve been to the best salons in NC. Crystal is an expert & after she does my hair, I feel beautiful. She is simply the best on the inside & out. Crystal truly cares about her clients. I make a 45 minute drive because nobody cuts & colors my hair like she does. She blows it out & listens to what you want. I’ve never felt so comfortable in a salon chair in my life. I’m very particular, & seeing her is better than any high dollar salon I’ve ever been too & I could go anywhere. I choose her . She loves what she does & enjoys making people shine. It’s her passion. I am so lucky to have found her. I’m not one to do review’s or put my name on anything but this is worth it. Crystal is a gem. Everyone that works with her in Forest City are friendly & kind. I have to give this place five stars. Even though the place was wildly short staffed, as in they temporarily only have one hair dresser. She was WELL worth the wait, Shania is an excellent and patient professional. She listens to her clients and as I waited I watched her style at least four different hair types to perfection. She is a gem. That was my first time there, it definitely won’t be my last.

I went in to get highlights done my hair was almost down to my waist I told the lady not to cut but maybe 1 inch off just the dead ends she would not listen and proceeded to cut my hair almost shoulder length I would not recommend or will not ever get my hair done here again

This was the worst hair cut I have ever experienced. I had hair maybe 3-4 inches below my ears. As the sides to be cut into dramatic type points. The employee Kayla, cut the back of my hair to maybe an inch long. The sides were extremely gap up & short. The manage apologize& tried to “Fix” it…but I had NO hair yo even fix. An apology isisnt going to fix my hair nor a free cut.
