One star because zero isnt allowed. I went there for a cut for my daughter, but the lady didn’t know what she was doing. She barely cut her hair and she missed parts of her hair.I also had a cut and color for my hair (I have curly hair which is only supposed to be cut dry) she cut it while wet and she missed parts of my hair with the dye. I will never go back there again!!!

I have two Special needs children and a very busy work schedule. Last time my boys needed haircuts I took them to this salon and the girl was amazing and the prices decent. Last night 5/3/18 at 6:45pm I returned to this salon to do repeat business. I waited at the counter for 5 minutes and then a lady called out from across the room in an unfriendly tone saying Can I help you? I said I had two children who needed haircuts. She promptly responded in the same unfriendly tone that the girl sitting in her chair would be her last client. Your salon closes at 8pm, and she was halfway done with her current client so there is absolutely no reason why she couldn’t shave my sons hair, nor is there any excuse for the rudeness in her voice and general demeanor. We will NEVER return to your salon again, nor will we recommend you to any friends or family in the area….and there are a lot!! Extremely Rude!!!

I went in for a cut and color. One lady was very nice but she was unsure about how to do the hair color. She asked her coworker and that lady was very rude. All I wanted was lighter blonde hair. My dark blonde roots were showing so I thought I’d get it lighter and evened out. The nice lady asked the mean lady how she should go about the color and the mean lady straight up yelled at me. Telling me I couldn’t have lighter color bc color doesn’t lift color. I said I’m open to suggestions. Well she said to use bleach I said ok let’s do it. Then she tells me she doesn’t have enough product and I’ll have to reschedule. I let the nice lady cut my hair even though I couldn’t color. But I won’t go back. I hope the nice lady gets out of there soon. The mean lady is dragging her down.

Went in the day I was set to leave to go overseas. Got an appointment and arrived on time had to wait because she didn’t know the correct time. Got me in the chair started on a high and tight then found out she had no blades or guards between a 0 and 2 and couldn’t do a fade. Long story short she cut all of my hair off down to a 0 to fix it and right then in walked her friend with the guards. After all of this she had the balls to be nice and only charge me for a beard trim instead of a hair cut this costing me 9 dollars for the worst hair cut of my life. Don’t go there. No skill and definitely no respect. The least they could have done after cutting all my hair off for their mistake was not charge me

If I could I would leave no star the manger jeccia said she was anyway. She is very rude and unprofessional when someone just calls to ask questions on there services. Then I told I want to speak to management she said she was I told well you need to learn how to talk to someone. Well she hung up on me I tried to call back and she had took the phone off the hook for over a hour. So called the store it self and got the number to call her boss waiting on them to call me back of course I was told it will be 48 hours . also I didn’t go to get my hair done here I go to this Walmart all the time but I read the review I want was to get my hair highlighted this manager jeccia said she didn’t now how to do this too that this lady Dana was be the good one . I would never go to this place of business

Went in for a simple wash and cut, after getting the wash the hairstylist told me I had week-old nits and refused to cut my hair. Anyone who knows anything about lice knows that nits only occure with active lice and hatch within a few days. Week old nits do not exist. I tried to explain to her that I have a particular form of dermatitis that causes thick flakes to stick to the hair strands as they grow. She told me I was wrong and she that “knew what she was looking at”, even though she’d barely looked. I went to an urgent care to get a second opinion, and they simply confirmed my dermatitis. What should have been a 10 minute affair turned into a whole evening ordeal. Will probably not be back.

Very friendly and they always do a great job cutting my son’s hair. I’ve taken him to other places (including the Walmart in Zebulon) and they always screw his hair up and I have to fix it at home. The Smart Style in Wake Forest is always clean, friendly, fast, and most importantly they listen to him and make sure he is happy with his hair.

Last time I got my haircut at this salon they totally botched a simple haircut. I won’t be returning. Didn’t notice until I got home and showered that the back corner was really off and there was 3 noticeable notch’s on the side where it was cut to low. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Good haircut for a sensible price. I found a “person.” Much more attention than Supercuts. Sometimes good deals on products too. BOGO on occassion. Not.fancy but great in a pinch or if go often and miney an object. I like it.
