I love the manager Theresa! She is an awesome stylist and has very good chair side manners. She’s been doing my hair for about 10+ years! I couldn’t be more satisfied with her work. I’m no easy cut or color but when I walk out after she does her magic, I feel like a new woman and my hubby is always happy with her work as he gets his cut by her also. I used the app while I was in the store to set up my appointment. They really weren’t busy but one person was ahead of me and it didn’t take long. Theresa the manager cut my hair. She’s very nice and did a great job considering I’m very very picky about who cuts my hair. This is my go to from now on. I can never find the right spot to get a hair cut but it’s been cut here twice now and I have no complaints.

Last year I decided to go get a haircut at this place for the first time, and Margie cut my hair. It was really long and I got it cut short, and really liked how she cut my hair. I spent 32$ for the cut and full style. A few months ago I went and got it cut again by Margie, and again paid 32$ for the cut and full style. Last weekend I went to Margie and got it trimmed up so that my hair would lay right, and this time my husband also got his haircut by Eric (who did a great job). I was talking to her about starting a new job and about how me and my husband are both working now, etc. I went to pay for our haircuts and Our total price was 62$. I thought it was high and looked at the receipt, she charged me $32 for the haircut PLUS A 10$ “add on”. (My husbands haircut was 19$) so, 42$ for my haircut… I came to her to ask what the $10 add on was and she informed me that it was for her flat ironing my hair. Excuse me? I walked out, and wasn’t going to argue. My husband was mad because a full style should include flat ironing. By the way, when I flat iron my hair, I do it in layers from bottom to top. She just barely grazed over it with the flat iron in about 5 minutes flat. So we called up there and talked to Eric about mystery 10$ charge. He said it’s really up to the stylist how much to charge. So basically it’s false advertisement on the wall. He said the 10$ was for the length of my hair. I didn’t even get an inch cut off! I got more cut off in the past and paid less. All in all, it hurt my feelings because I feel Margie took advantage of me telling her that we were both working. Not only did she rip me off for 10$, i also gave her a 3$ tip in cash for herself and a 2$ tip on the card for Eric, and when I got home and looked at the receipt I realized that she actually took $1.80 of the tip on the card and put a 20 cent tip to Eric, plus took the 3$ cash tip! I will never go back to her. Eric was really professional and handled the whole situation well, and did a great job on my husbands hair.

Got my haircut here a few months ago. I love a good deal and I’m normally not picky about my hair at all, especially when I’m just going for a trim. I went in and said I wanted to take an inch off of my hair, I specifically said an inch because I’ve been to other places and had mishaps when I said trim and didn’t specify how much. Anyways, I said I wanted an inch off and that was it. Not only did she cut over three she gave me really choppy layers that I DID NOT ask for. The hair on the sides of my head was at least two inches shorter than the back like an awful mullet. I had to go back to a real salon to fix my hair within a week because it made me feel so bad about myself. Not to mention with the layers she gave me I almost couldn’t put my hair in a bun for work because they had been cut so short. She also cut my hair so fast I didn’t have time to stop her or correct her mess up. So by me trying to save a few bucks I ended up spending more at a salon to try and fix my hair and to this day it’s not back to how I want it. I need the front to grow out some more still. I will never go here again. Also she was incredibly rude. During my cut a young African American boy came in to ask about pricing and after he walked out intending to come back she laughed and said something along the lines of “oh thank god I DID not want to have to do his hair”. I don’t remember her name but she was a young African American woman in maybe her 30s. The only positives out of this whole ordeal is I found a great salon in greenbriar that I will keep going back to.

I had gone to this salon a couple times in the past and wasn’t too impressed until I met Nicole a couple months ago. This woman is an excellent stylist. I needed a blow out one day real fast and this Walmart is right down the street… so I took the chance and went back in. Well I met Nicole this time. I have never had anyone who could blow out my hair with the waves staying so perfect for a whole week. I have very thick curly hair so this was a first for me. Her bedside manner is wonderful. She’s very kind, and funny, and I always enjoy her company. Thank you Nicole for every beautiful job.

Japbarbie doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing. I have never ever in my life, even after a straight year of being unable to care for my hair had anyone destroy it the way she did. It is lifeless, stiff, and heat damaged. Never saw a stylist blow dry hair with their fingers, flat iron with fingers, not detangle hair, slap on loads of oils, do multiple passes with a flat iron and not chase it with a comb, not know how to do a silk press and so much more. I should have known from how dry and fried her hair looked that I was screwed. Don’t make my mistake.

I went in with the hair in the first picture and asked for a *trim*, stating that it was left in my eyes at my last cut and I would like it shaped around my eyes so that I can see, but I didn’t want a straight across haircut like a child, This is what I was left with after she made a series of uneven cuts and i told her to stop.

It saddens me to write this review. I was 100% naturally and ask for a wash and press. what i received was a relaxer which I didn’t ask for in english or spanish. I came to learn some of the hair styles put relaxer in their conditioner to make your natural hair more manageable. I can’t believe someone betrayed my trust. My hair was now relaxed and I will have to cut it off to start my natural hair journey again. Beware if you are 100% natural do not go here. You might walk out with a relaxer, you didn’t ask for
