Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI had outgrown blonde hair and I wanted to have the blonde hair match my brown roots. I made an appointment. When I got there for my appointment time I was told to sit down and wait. I was there waiting for 30 minutes (nobody asked who I was, if I had an appointment or what I wanted done). I finally told one of the workers that my appointment was supposed to start 30 minutes ago. She goes “oh yes you scheduled your appointment with me”. She sat me down and then went back to finishing this other girls hair. Then i told her that I just want the blonde hair to match the brown roots. She said okay. After she put some mixture on my hair and it was sitting for a bit I knew something was off. My roots were being bleached orange. I decided to just trust her process. I showed this picture of brown hair to her also. She bleached my healthy outgrown roots to an orange color and she made the blonde a weird greenish light brown. My hair was so incredibly damaged after her coloring my hair that I had to cut as much off as I can because it was falling out and breaking. Now it is going to take forever to grow my hair out to be healthy again because she bleached and ruined all the hair I already had grown out. And the best part is that when it grows out I will have my natural color roots then the orange brown and then the greenish brown. I will have 3 different colors on my head. I had outgrown blonde hair and I wanted to have the blonde hair match my brown roots. I made an appointment. When I got there for my appointment time I was told to sit down and wait. Critical: ProfessionalismWent to Smartstyle at Hazle Township, PA on 05/25/21 at 6:30pm for a haircut. Website states they are open till 8pm. I stood there and the 2 hair stylists just stared at me, didn’t greet me, nor asked me what I needed, continued with their customer, then a hair stylist finally came to me and asked me what I needed at 6:55pm just to tell me they are closing in 5 minutes. They saw me stood there for 25 minutes and did not even apologize for the wait. I went to their website to write a feedback but did not hear from anyone, no one wrote back to apologize. I went to great clips the next day as soon as I walked in, both hair stylists greeted me and I got a nice haircut, their hair stylist provided good customer service, has good manners and very professional the opposite of Smartstyle (not smart at all). Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityIf I could give more stars I would! Leslie did my hair and took me right back. She was AMAZING!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HAIR. I usually have really bad anxiety with going to the salon because of past experiences, however she made me so comfortable and did so good.
