I have gone here often n understand being shorthanded. They have always been kind n friendly n very patient. However, communication of this would this and previous appointment would have been a plus. I walked in with a picture of my hair cut from a year ago. I asked the stylist to cut to that length (below the ears), with a lot of layers. I got an abhorrent, uneven chin-length bob cut instead. When I tried to talk to her about it, the stylist got visibly mad. I have extreme social anxiety and the haircut was so bad I just cried in my car and booked an appt with someone else. I’ve given this place a few chances, but I cannot recommend.

I went the first time and the girl messed my hair up pretty bad. I went back and spoke with the manager who redid my hair for free and did an amazing job. Managers name is Madison aka Maddy. You wont regret it if she does your hair!! Went back a second time to see Maddy and I just love her she is amazing!

I needed a beard trim. I walked into Walmart to pick up one quick thing and noticed the SmartStyle hair salon right inside the entrance. On a whim I walked into the salon and was greated immediately and warmly. They were able to take me right in with no appointment! Maddie, the stylist who also turned out to be the manager, was very pleasant and professional. We had good conversation while she efficiently did the beard trim. The fee was very reasonable and I was in and out in no time and back to my shopping errands. The location, service, value and all around convenience was really appreciated. Thank you!

They are the most positive, humble and kind people I know. The prices don’t do them justice. The should be charging 100$ a cut just for the amazing experience you get, but it’s only 19.97!!!!
