I love the product lines she carries, especially R & Co and Arrojo. One of the many things I love about Katherine is she never pressures sale of products. Katherine respects that I know my hair best and how I style it, including that I do my own color. She is so great about giving me tips on my home color as well, how cool is that? I’ve sent many friends to Small Talk, and each is happy with their experience! Katherine’s COVID response was so steady and practical, following all CDC guidelines in an even-handed and practical way. I attached a photo of my ten-year-old’s session with Katherine. I love the product lines she carries, especially R & Co and Arrojo. One of the many things I love about Katherine is she never pressures sale of products. Laurie has been doing my hair for years. She knows exactly what she is doing, pays attention to the details, and gives me the best haircut every time. I followed her to Small Talk Salon and it is so cute, clean, relaxing, and everyone is friendly. Sometimes, it’s just me and Laurie in there and I feel like I’m at a private spa. The inside of the salon was very cute, comfortable, clean, and Covid safe (dividers). I’m a student at Quinnipiac and they do offer a student discount! Although, I felt like the prices for their services were very reasonable for the most part. I had my appointment with Laurie and she did an amazing job. I love my hair! She was so quick to answer my questions before the appointment. She was also the sweetest. What I really appreciated was how clear she was with what she was doing as she was cutting my hair, and updating me on what she was doing next. She was great at communicating throughout the appointment. It really made the overall experience more comfortable and relaxing because I haven’t had a haircut at a salon since before Covid. It was nice to know what was going on as it was happening. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I got to meet the owner Katherine and we had wonderful conversation. The inside of the salon was very cute, comfortable, clean, and Covid safe (dividers). I’m a student at Quinnipiac and they do offer a student discount! Although, I felt like the prices for their services were very reasonable for the most part. They are clean professional and follow the covid guidelines.I am very particular about my hair and have got thick hairs. I had to get a haircut after a longtime so was very careful in choosing the right place.I went there after reading so many good reviews about the owner Katherine and other great hair artists.Had very long, waist length hairs and had to get shoulder length layered cut with front angled hair, which is a huge change. I am so glad I found them and took my chances.Laurie did my haircut. She is extremely skilled professional and an amazing soul too. She is the goddess of hair artists.We connected instantly and yes she understands hair and is a master in her craft. She is very patient, listened to all my needs and gave her valuable inputs too which were very helpful.She was very careful as she was cutting my hair for the first time. She was in no hurry, took time and gave me a beautiful and perfect haircut. Made my hairs lighter and much more manageable.It is one of the best haircuts that I ever got. My husband couldn’t stop appreciating it and loved it. Even my toddler liked it too & gave me a beautiful smile after seeing my new look.I got so many compliments on my new style.I was really surprised at how deeply Laurie understands her craft & profession, can relate to ones lifestyle & help accordingly.I know this for sure that it can only come with a lot of experience and hard work.I completely agree with all other reviewers here who wont stop raving about her.
